Never seen this before…
Natural result of paying to watch the Kings.
Never seen this before…
Especially just sitting there taking the L!That's pretty embarrassing.
Good win, but relatively uninspiring game. Dubs in front from the outset and the Raps never really got that close. Good games again from Wiggins and Poole with 30+ points each.
That was odd. I “hate” James, but the motioned seemed like him trying to push away an arm, not to land an elbow. Though maybe there’s a better angle I haven’t seen.Lebron had truly become an actor. Elbows the guy in the face and then fakes concern over his health.
There is another angle. He took a glance then moved his elbow but connected with his fist. If he didn't take that look, I'd consider it accidentalThat was odd. That is so true. The Raptors game plan (like most teams) was to stop Steph and it pretty much worked last night. Trouble is, when you do that the rest of the team gets real open looks. Wiggins and especially Poole (who just couldn't seem to miss) took advantage of that in spades. Team looked real good without seemingly having to get out of 1st gear. Just hope they can stay injury free once Klay and "Wise" come back. If they can keep a full roster it's really starting to look like they might have a shot this year. Its so important to have guys to step in when your main threat is what 12pts with 20% FG in 37 min. Compare that to some other teams where team is in plus when their main guy is in the game and team ends up in minus while on the bench. GS looks really great right now.
They were discussing this on the Dubs post-game show last night. The general consensus was that Stewart will get suspended for a bunch of games while LeBron because he is LeBron will largely escape "scot free" since the refs have already given him a flagrant 2 and of course because he is LeBron. There is another angle. He took a glance then moved his elbow but connected with his fist. If he didn't take that look, I'd consider it accidental

LeBron does a lot of dirty stuff but gets away with it because he's LeBron.
As Gilbert Arenas wisely said, NBA will be hounding for Stewart's drug test results and drive him out of the league.Intentional and deserves a couple of games.
Stewart though, very rare to see such an extended rage reaction, he just kept going, long after the point when the vast majority of people would start to calm down.

He was about to beat the hell out of Lebron.

Not generally a man you would ascribe much in the way of wisdom to but yes in this case I think he may have it right( not the hounding out, but scrutiny), because that was just way over the top, understandable to react initially but even as 20 year old, he should be expected to take control of himself.
Or back into them Harry Kane styleDefinitely intentional. We see it when footballers glance back knowing where/when the opponent is going up for a header and/or looking to throw an arm or elbow around.
Not sure how true but I read some say Stewart snapped because either something was said to him by Lebron or he didn't immediately realize he was bleeding severely.Stewart bodying guys out of the way just shows how much fake tough guy “hold me back” posturing there is. Westbrook pretending to square up while being so easily held back.
weird to see him that angry for that long. You could be generous and say he knew he was going and tried to take a few Lakers with him but that sounds very Joey Barton. Most likely just macho bs. Not surprised by the drug test comment. He did do a great job using the towel lady as a screen for his route, the Lions could take a look at him
lebron’s “tried to get his number to apologise” is very phony and so very LeBron, given it was so clearly intentional
That would explain him not decking LeBron to begin with. Not sure how true but I read some say Stewart snapped because either something was said to him by Lebron or he didn't immediately realize he was bleeding severely.
Westbrook is a fecking clown though
Heard a podcast recently discussing Wiggins likely being first player with 20k points and no All-Stars appearances. That actually seems quite likely.Good win, but relatively uninspiring game. Dubs in front from the outset and the Raps never really got that close. Good games again from Wiggins and Poole with 30+ points each.
He's playing well this season and is a career 25/10/3 guy who is a stud defensively and shoots above 50% and has a decent 3 ball. How Anthony Davis made the top 75 players of all time I will never know.

He is quite overrated.
He really doesn't. Sub 30% for his career and a juicy 19% this season.
The problem with him is that he can't carry a team because for some he reason, despite all his gifts, he often outright refuses to impose his will on a game. At this point, there's no way he should make it into the top 75 ahead of Howard.
It's slightly over 30% according to basketball reference. He isn't a great 3 point shooter but above 30% for his career is decent for a big man.
Nah even today it's decent. Brook Lopez is just above .300 for his career. Going by this listI'd say that was decent for a big 15 years ago, not these days. He's simply not a good 3 point shooter.

The average for the best shooting big men ever is about .37
