NBA 2019-2020

Some great games on tonight, I expect both LA games to go down the wire. Love big game nights like this:drool:

I look at Giannis and I just don't see how you can guard him if he gets a respectable three (he is getting there). The man is unreal!

I love Russ! I'm happy he is becoming more efficient lately, Harden is being doubled all game so we needed him to step up and he did.

Just gotta respect Harden, As elite of a scorer as we have ever seen.

In 5 years, we'll be talking about who's better between MJ, LeBron, and Giannis

There, i said it

Quoted for future reference.

After 17 years of greatness and a better all-around game, even know the comparison between MJ and LeBron is barely taken serious by people who've seen MJ play.

yea way too early for that. Giannis hasn't even made it to an nba finals yet.

besides, in 5 years time, Doncic will be better than him anyways :wenger:

That game was all Russ tbh, although Harden did his job, Russ was the one that lead the come back, amazing energy by him.
Ya I know I should of said that that comment was based off of the 3 Harden did when it was tied 113-113 and then the following 2 plays after .

I agree though Russ was immense all game. Houston seem to have the Clippers number atm.

How come, I mean didn't Clippers win in their previous match recently?

It was an unfortunate loss by the rox in the final seconds, the 1st game was a comfortable win for the Rockets, I think Russ get really motivated when he plays vs Pat Bev given their history, I don't think the Rockets have their number it's more like it's always an exciting game.

Adding insult to injury after that Pistons game:

So that's Gasol, Powell, Siakam, Matt Thomas, and Stanley Johnson out indefinitely. VanVleet will be a game-day decision for today. Just when we were getting back our depth, it all goes back down again.

Their recent games have been feisty, maybe we're seeing a beginning of a rivalry of sort.

I think its 2-1 to the rockets so far this season but even though they are close games I always feel like the rockets could beat them. Great games though very very entertaining!

The Pelicans are bad. I thought they were being overrated pre-season and so far it is looking that way. Maybe Zion helps them more than I am expecting but I still don't think they should be this bad without him. Also, Philly have a Ben Simmons problem.

What's Philly's Ben Simmons problem?

On the bright side, the bench will get a lot of minutes and give Masai more data with which to work his magic.

What's Philly's Ben Simmons problem?
He is f*#%ing sh@te.
Picking that guy as a guard and expecting to win a championship with him is a quite courageous decision.

He's a PF and not a PG.
He's neither though. What he is, is one of the best defenders in the league across 5 positions, and also one of the best passers in the league, and also an unstoppable force of nature in transition

The fit with Embiid on offense in the half court is not good, but whether it ends up mattering or not remains to be seen. They took the raptors to the final shot of game 7 last year and that with Embiid struggling with health issues. Their starting lineup this season is absolutely shredding opponents anyways, they're 20-10 and will finish with another 50 wins regular season, and their defence is only going to be scarier in the playoffs

People should stop projecting what they want Ben(and Embiid!) to be and pretend that that's a problem for the 76ers and just accept what he is, which is a top 15 player in the league and an absolute monster on the side of the ball his team is built to dominate and win with

His fit with Embiid is awkward. He is far too passive on offense. They miscalculated by wanting to keep him as a full-time PG and signing Horford as the PF. They will not be getting close to the Bucks in a series if Simmons doesn't improve considerably. He is not a top 15 player in the league and if I was Philly I'd try to trade him.

Or they could just get a PG in and let him and Ben share playmaking duties just like how pre-Miami LeBron was played.

You build around your best player, which for the Sixers is Embiid. Indulging Ben by playing him as the PG is just wasting Embiid's prime and the potential of this team.

And Ben isn't top 15 in the league. In the East maybe, but not the league.

Bloody hell what a quarter from the Raptors against Dallas.
Just randomly came across this on YouTube provided on the Sky Sports channel.
