NBA 2019-2020

3 first rounders, don’t like that. But excited to see AD in purple and gold!

Gap is there with Warriors fecked. Lakers big favourites now considering LeBron experience unmatched.
I agree with Warriors out for the count and the only player who an light a candle to Lebron out for the season (Though Kawhi is pretty close to those 2) I think Lebron and AD will be too much for anyone in the West. They need some shooters but I expect Lebron to go buck wild after what happened last season and AD will be showtime in LA.

Of course the Lakers are going to be good again.

They have enough cap space for another max FA too.

If they get Butler, it's a wrap.

Looks like they're going to be targeting Kemba though.

ball ingram hart and 3 firsts wow
Who you think gets the better deal?

As much as I like Zo and Ingram, I think LA depending on who this gets us in free agency. This might convince another top guy.

They'll be low picks now, except for this year which drops off after the top 3, or so I've read?

They really need a Point guard bad.

I know this wont happen but...Imagine if somehow Kyrie went there! That would be insane.

*I know it wont happen I feel I need to emphasize that because of some folk.

Already starting to have a dig at me? Like what is the issue with someone having an opinion.

I hope New Orleans do well and I like the move they did they picked up some good pieces and will get some more but I still don't think they will get a chip its an opinion get over it bro. If they win a chip ill be the first to say I was wrong I have no problem with that.

you're already wrong

LA because they got AD but I would not say they lost the deal wither because they got good young players and some picks to build a good core so they are moving in the right direction for sure. Win win IMO.

Though it could be considered a loss to NOLA if you consider the fact Lakers through them the whole building back in January and New Orleans said no.

i think new orleans got an amazing deal. teams trading stars almost never get fair value but compare this to recent trades:

paul george - clearly better at the time
kawhi leonard - clearly better
jimmy butler - clearly better
dwight howard - clearly better
demarcus cousins - clearly better
kyrie irving - clearly better
kevin love - better at the time

la will be happy if they get a top free agent but new orleans did really well

He looks to be heading to Brooklyn.

I think Kemba would be better than Kyrie at this point.

All it's cost them to wait is Kuzma really.

Yes because the all mighty Eboue said so. Since you like to be on my sack so much at least tag me when you try to have a sly dig.

You're trying to start something like a child so go kick rocks before replying back.

True but would be nice to get Kuz too but either way New Orleans got some good young pieces and are moving in a goof direction towards building around a generational talent.

Yeah, I am a bit gutted to lose Ingram and Zo. I've always had them higher than others, although probably because I'm a Lakers fan.

For the NBA, I know everyone hates the Lakers but this is interesting for the league. Another challenger.

Ya I know he is sadly for me (Knicks are cursed:lol:).

I saw Kemba said he wanted to stay in the Hornets and have them build around him? Don't know if any truth to that though.

I don't rate Lonzo and Hart, Ingram is okay, Lakers definitely stronger but 3 1st rounders is a lot.

The NBA is better when teams like the Lakers are good so this is good for the league.

I like Zo I think he is an intelligent player and his passing is fantastic but his dad makes you have a bad taste about him and set expectations too high.

the pelicans will now have something like this

jrue holliday
brandon ingram
julius randle
zion williamson
lonzo ball
josh hart
stanley johnson
coby white / jarrett culver

with extra first and second round picks in spades in the coming years

very few teams are in a better position than they are going forward

just got back from kicking a few rocks. they also said you are wrong
At least you read correctly this time I'm happy for you because you were really struggling in that department the other day. Happy for you bud. Have a good day pup.

zion must be fuming. he could have been playing with kevin knox and dennis smith jr

Aww thats so cute he's really trying guys! Come on someone clap for him please he's not too good at this.

LeBron does have a habit of screwing up the long term outlook of a franchise. He basically moves to a franchise, insist they trade all their assets for established players to help him, wins a championship and then moves on, leaving them in a mess. At the lakers it’s no different - they might win a championship or two but once Lebron leaves or retires they’ll be without any proper lottery picks or have a decent squad to develop.

Mind you it’s not a bad thing if it guarantees you championships. I don’t think Cleveland fans regret it, and I certainly don’t regret Masai Ujiri’s similar gamble with the raptors if Kawhi ends up leaving. A chip is a chip.

new orleans is going to be really good and sportingcp96 will look even sillier

I agree. Ball and Ingram will be great for them, and Hart is a nice bench piece.

A lot of fans will disagree with you.

I think the NBA, any competition, is better when there are more legit challengers.

Julius Randle is a free agent.

If pelicans plan properly, this can set them up for years.

 You can complain when someone gets 4 all stars.

Lakers have done what every team should do and that is to take risks to win . The warriors did that as well and got three rings out of it . No team doing anything is good or bad for the league really. League has done pretty well for itself in the time that Lakers have been a complete joke

I am mad at myself for letting myself believe this might finally be a good summer for the Knicks (Typical Knicks fan:lol:) After all the buzz I was starting to believe Kyrie and KD were coming and nada. Not to mention how upset I was of missing out on Zion who I will probably end up being a fangirl of like Shannon Sharp over Lebron:lol:.

Kyrie probably going to Nets. KD hurt and probably going to stay in Golden state.

Butler might head to LA and Kemba is staying in the Hornets and no chance at Kawhi.

Maybe it will finally allow them to build from the ground up and developing the players they have. Will be curious to see what they do because as of now they have a young team with no experience.

Atlanta trading for no. 4 makes perfect sense. They are apparently very keen on Jarrett Culver and this gets them Culver. They also need a center but they can get him with Nets pick easily.

Pelicans would then have no. 8 and 10.

Wait, what was the risks Warriors took?

Oh I agree its more fun that way. Now seems to be many good teams forming and the competition will be rising. But I think its good when historic franchises like the Lakers and Celtics are good. IMO at least.
