I was reading that as well and thinking "well there's nothing bad with ifs and buts from fans" -- Then I realized he was quoting Nasri :lol::lol:
 
People realise that he is answering questions yeah? they odn't just put a microphone infront of him and he starts speaking? What is wrong with what he was saying? HE starts it all off with "IF we beat sunderland", not "when we beat sunderland"

So what ? There are arrogant answers and there are other types of answers.Just because he was asked a question doesn't mean he had to make conjectures about beating Sunderland
 
What if the question is "If you beat sunderland what are your chances of winning the league?" or "After Chelsea beat United what are your chances of winning the league?"

How is his answer lacking any sort of class?

I'll try to lay it out for you. The model professional answer would be in the direction of "we just need to focus on our games, and then we'll count the tally at the end" instead of making calculations based on assumptions and conjecture. The way he answers, no matter what the question was, indicates that in his mind, they've already got the points in the bag.

A more appropriate answer, as I pointed out, would have been "we just have to do our best against Sunderland and hope we can grab a win etc."

And stop acting like a stubborn child and pretending that Giggs quote is in any way comparable to this.

No, it's a good thing for Arsenal supporters surely.

Nasri is saying he will never play for Tottenham, as he's faithful to what Arsenal want. However, if United or Chelsea or the other 16 teams got involved, he would have to have a serious think.
 
Well if money or whatever drives him to another club so be it, as long as it isn't tottenham, and as long as he doesn't act a dick like Ashley Cole.
 
Like a lot of young footballers he comes across as being full of himself. I doubt any Arsenal fan will be too worried if they win something this season. I suppose the questions would start if they went through the next couple of seasons doing interviews where they proclaimed their superiority and won nothing. For now, I suspect Wenger won't be too concerned by a public show of self-belief, provided it isn't just bluster.

His form seems to have dropped over the last 6 weeks or so, and he doesnt really seem to influence the big games (he was awful at Old Trafford earlier this season) as much as he should.

Nasri just looked sloppy and tired, Arshavin was his usual self. The biggest fallacy in the Arse side for me is RVP. Never been a lone striker, can't seem to grasp the false #9 role and certainly doesn't live up to the hype of 'would be amazing if he could stay fit'. He's scored goals because he plays upfront for a very creative team and he's technically proficient.

That's what you want in a striker though, I really think RVP is a great player he has just gotten tainted by injuries, as a finisher he reminds me of RVN which is saying something, takes probably the best penalty in teh world as well

Other then being dutch there is very little in the common between Ruud and RVP, they lead the line in different ways
