Nani has just persuaded me to take the plunge and buy a ps3...

Not bothered about campaign gameplay tbh

I'm a social gamer...it's all in the multiplayer and online :)

Don't think I've even attempted cod4 campaign...Gears was good mind, but inline with being a social gamer I completed it with a mate...

If you're looking for excellent online titles I would pick up COD4, RSV, RSV2, Reistance and Warhawk.

I'd pre-order LBP, Resistance 2, Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5 aswell.

I wasn't aiming the 'run through it' part at you, more of a generalisation really.

And Splinter Cell are the only other Stealth Games I have played, but in my opinion they're not a patch on any of the Metal Gear Solids. The original and Chaos Theory were very good, but Pandora Tomorrow and Double Agent were't anything great to be honest.

Splinter cell and MG aren't the only 'stealth' games out there.

MGS4 has feck all in terms of gameplay over SC either, infact a lot of it's ideas are stolen anyway. That doesn't make it crap, because it clearly isn't, but that also doesn't make it the great title it's fans claim it is.

It's a good extension of the series, it's got a very compelling story. However as a video game, it's ok. Nothing more.

Ratchet is ok, but I wouldn't even pay £16 for it.

Elvis is right about MGS4, it's worth it for the experience alone (though don't expect too much in terms of gameplay). I'm not sure on other ones right this minute worth £40, because in my opinion there's little on any machine I'd pay that amount for right now. All the best ones you'd get a lot cheaper with cash.

You need to head to Gamestation's website to see what games are available.

Dude have you actually played right through R&C?

IMO it was an incredibly enjoyable game, had stunning graphics and plenty of variety.

In my eyes a must have for £16 quid.

I didn't say they were. They are the only ones I have played though.

We'll just agree to disagree;)

Regarding 1st 3...

Got co4 on nerdbox aswell as r61... never bothered with 2nd.

As far as I can make out, you think that the XB360 is the better console because of its games library, and due to the age of most of them, the price you can pick them up for. Then, on the other hand, you actually accept that from the hardware persective the PS3 oooooozes black awesomejuice out of its exhaust ports.

Best deal I've found is gamestation

80gb with ANY 3 games, including preorder ones, for £379.99

That's effectively a top game for free...

Killzone 2?
Resistence 2?
Fifa 09?
Cod5?

What's looking good?

Any better deals out there?

That offer is probably one of the best out there at the moment. They let you pick any game plus you don't have to buy 3 games and get a bit knocked off the price. Don't know if you get a HDMI cable with it them though nowadays?

There is an amazon offer as well but shit choice of game: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html?docId=1000211123

Try your local Zavvi store they've had some decent bundles with the PS3 and 10% off if you have a virgin credit card.

Still that gamestation one is prob your best bet.

Aye I thought it was probably was...

Right feckers...what 3 upcoming games look to bre my best bet?

Killzone2 looking good?

Wipeout HD is meant to be released today for £12 on the store thats gotta be worth a look.
