£15 on 3-1, £150 return
Half price playstation3
Half price playstation3
Ive got a 360 and a PS3, PS3 >>>> 360
Only reason to have a 360 is for games that aren't available for PS3.
360 is better.
Each to their own. For me right now it is:
PC>>>>Wii>PS3>>360.
PC is always my first choice though, regardless.
I was gonna add an opinion but I will only be called a fanboy either way so I won't
So you take quotes from other threads to make what point exactly? Careful here Elvis, you may make yourself look a little silly...
You're inconsistent in your posts.
I think you're the only person who is acting like a fanboy in this thread so far.
Never be scared to add an opinion my friend, that's what forums are all about!
I want to join your bookies.
It's ironic really. Look up irony.
http://www.game.co.uk/PS3/Hardware/...tchet-and-Clank-and-Transformers-the-Blu-Ray/
PS3 80GB + GT5: Prologue + Ratchet & Clank + Fifa 08 + Transformers on Blu-Ray = £349.99.
Excellent deal.
I don't care which is better tbh...
Nerdbox = Halo3, a better controller, Gears 2 (wooop), better online (although you have to pay for it)
Ps3 = Some top quality exclusives look to be on their way, a more reliable system, classier
Now find me a good deal feckers
Right, serious face now because I hate people who throw threads off with biased opinions rather than help...
First up I wouldn't bother with a pre-order, especially one of those you've listed. There's any number of back-catalogue games you want to play first before taking a risk on unreleased titles. Is there any specific type of game you want?
Fair do's. Ive owned both, I now own the PS3. I think the general idea behind choosing is how you like to game. In terms of overall system quality and potential the PS3 is the choice I would make, now Sony is actually pushing firmwares that improve the console rather than tweak it I think it's a good buy now but a great buy in say 2-3 years.
If you want to play online then the 360 wins that hands down, yeah you pay for the service but I think the ease of use in terms of joining friends and actually communicating via headset its miles in front of the PS3 at the moment.
Overall, I would buy the PS3 but don't expect immediate satisfaction.

Blu ray for me is a bit of a gimick atm
Not denying the quality...but you can feck off if you think I'm ever paying £20 for a film
I know what irony means.
You simply posting "360 is better" in the thread and then accusing someone who at the very least elaborated on his point of being a fanboy is a bit silly, no?
Sound familiar?
I do want Ratchet but as I say I cn get it for £16...if I'm paying £379 I might as well milk them for 3 £40 games.
Don't know where your shopping mate but new release's are about £18 but if you hold tight a few months they average out at about £14. I own 12 blu ray's and I have never spent over £15.
Ratchet is ok, but I wouldn't even pay £16 for it.
Elvis is right about MGS4, it's worth it for the experience alone (though don't expect too much in terms of gameplay). I'm not sure on other ones right this minute worth £40, because in my opinion there's little on any machine I'd pay that amount for right now. All the best ones you'd get a lot cheaper with cash.
You need to head to Gamestation's website to see what games are available.

This is the thing that gets me, if you run through the game as fast as possible then yes, there isn't much in terms of gameplay, or at least not as much as some would like. But with it being primarily a stealth game, if you actually play it that way you get a lot more gameplay out of it then people give it credit for, plus you get a hell of a lot more satisfaction.
Cut-scenes are brilliant though Number7, particularly the one at the end of Act 3. If you're an MGS fan there are also some excellent nostalgic moments too.
Not bothered about campaign gameplay tbh
I'm a social gamer...it's all in the multiplayer and online
Don't think I've even attempted cod4 campaign...Gears was good mind, but inline with being a social gamer I completed it with a mate...
Why assume I've "run" through it?
The game has nothing really different from any other stealth game (which I'm sure you've played plenty of to make a comparison), and some parts feel like they are just a means to get to the next story point. Which, of course, they are. That's how it was designed.
