named good strikers(not cup tied)?

I don't believe Ronaldo will remain un cuptied for long.

Could we perhaps look further afield like Africa or even Asia? Everton's chinese players look to be doing alright. Inamoto is having a blinder at Fulham.

How about bringing Arthur Gomez back from Antwerp?

I don't believe that any new striker could possibly have a worse opening run than Forlan...

I mentioned that we needed to be consistent in our attack and got mocked by the likes of Panic Buyer. Sure enough are only two blemishes are 1-0s this year. Just like last.
 
Di Canio looks to be the main candidate if there is to be another striker, considering he isn't cup tied and West Ham are annoyed with the fact that his contract runs out and he hasn't signed a new one yet. It would also allow Fergie to loot the market next summer for a big name for the future like Ronaldinho or Cisse as this would give us five strikers - but one would be 34 and so wouldn't be able to play every game at the highest level. Defoe is also a possibility as he did not sign a contract at the start of the season as expected and he isn't cup tied and he is young and a great prospect. He would probably be the closest we'd come to finding a long term successor to Ole - their styles are quite similar - they're both nippy and intelligent players with good finishing although at this stage Ole is by far the better of the two in that aspect.
