Awesome, I can't wait for brilliant Elon to invent AI.
Summers is a former Treasury Secretary and a pretty big name in economics.
Oh how those winter evenings must simply fly by. The hilarity of it all.Musk ofcourse calls him "Scam Altman".
He didn't 'found' anything.he founded openAI and now he wants to buy it for 100bn
big-brain moves
He didn't 'found' anything.
Behind the facade of the eccentric genius scientist-entrepreneur mythologised by his rabid followers, Elmo has always been a run of the mill venture capitalist latching himself on projects founded by actual scientists.
I am all for trashing Nazi Elon nowadays, but he actually founded it. He put the moneys for it, recruited chief scientist Sutskever, and together with Altman built the original team and structure. He didn't 'found' anything.

fixedBut originally, it was his idea to capitalize on the developments at google and his money to start.
Good Podcast
COVID, having a trans kid and not being loved or liked by anyone has a genuine chance as being the reasons a 200+ year republic dies. Also her comments on his evolution on AI from terrified to "humans are ant hills" is terrifying,(after watching the podcast above)
he's so much more ideological than Trump isn't he?
he seems to be able to spin every single problem humanity faces into something only he can solve
scary scary times
Wannabe TrumpMusk ofcourse calls him "Scam Altman".
Indeed and it’s even funnier that Altman himself seems absolutely miserable and is one of the very few people who look lame and sad even behind the wheel of their supercarAltman is winding him up more than anyone right now
Hopefully throwing hearts tooNow watch Musk shooting fifty tweets trying to convince anyone how happy he is. So, so happy. Happy new year
Yes. He has the humour of a 12 year old boy.Apologies if already mentioned, but why is his Twitter name "Harry Bolz"? Is this him thinking it is hilarious that his name sounds like hairy balls?
Yup. Imagine if George Soros was answering questions in the oval office with the fkin president sitting right there as if he has no choice but to be quiet. If I was a China or Russia I'd be laughing my ass off.The image of him in the White House answering questions with that clownish cap and kid on his head, is hilariously stupid. I mean most fascist states blur the lines between money and power but the brazen nature of it in the US is even more damning for the American people and what they have voted for.
Even here in India we know the PM is hand in glove with a few billionaires he does the bidding for, but it’s mostly a hush hush affair. Musk standing there acting as if he’s running things is comedy gold.Yup. Imagine if George Soros was answering questions in the oval office with the fkin president sitting right there as if he has no choice but to be quiet. If I was a China or Russia I'd be laughing my ass off.
@elmo ??That was brilliant, I can imagine Elmo crying tears of rage over this.
This new EO signed today appears to create DOGE as a shadow government across the entire federal government. Each agency/dept will be assigned a DOGE minder who will work with the Secry or Director and essentially be in charge of all new hiring and/or firing. People have been saying the Elon is President. But this new EO actually seems to make Elon as head of DOGE functionally the President or perhaps something more like a Prime Minister. The head of every govt agency or department will know report to a DOGE operative assigned to the agency/dept by Musk.
are these the young men with dodgy histories and names like dusty bolz?https://bsky.app/profile/joshtpm.bsky.social/post/3lhx3wyes2k2z
So there are now party political officers in every department which are the final say.
them and seemingly anyone musk wantsare these the young men with dodgy histories and names like dusty bolz?
Next? He’s already there. Thread title update required.America next president. It's written in the stars
This is why he hides away on X or only partakes in friendly reporter conversations. As soon as anyone else asks any probing questions, he falls apart.
Also, he probably already has all the power he can attain. He doesn't actually need the presidency to get what he wants. And assuming a "normal" election cycle next time around, he would first need to win the Republican nomination and then the general election, and I don't think it can be overstated just how awkward an individual he actually is. Musk would be terrible at rallies and debates. He comes across as a giant dweeb. I feel like his role will continue to be this - right hand man and financier to whoever runs. And then there is obviously the whole constitutional aspect. If the Republicans are going to change the constitution for the next election it will be to elect Trump again, not to elect Musk.Next? He’s already there. Thread title update required.
