Following on from the Led Zeppelin plagiarism thread let's point out other blatant rip off's by other bands/artists.

Might as well start with the most obvious case, Oasis....

Good idea.

I can't be bothered to do any now. But I thought I'd let you know I thought this was a good idea.

I always imagined that was sampled, but apparently not. It says it's "inspired by" on wiki.

Going a bit off the beaten track here...James Horner "borrowed" a lot of the soundtrack to Willow from more notable classical work..

And when he's stuck, he just nicks stuff from himself.

It's normally very angry people on youtube that bring these sorts of things to my attention. I don't know if the above is appropriate though as it's going to be a long thread if we simply post songs with very similar riffs in them.

Bloody hell, how horrible are Oasis and how awesome was T. Rex!

I'm pretty sure the X-factor singers actually credit the originals though, because a fair few of them seem to do it, I mean I played that Swagger Jagger song when my Nan was around and she instantly after about 10 seconds heard the similarity to some 50's song I forgot, but its all in the youtube comments, so I'm sure they must credit them.
