Listening to it now. Only got to the second track but this is orgasmic already. Resistance is amazing. Lots of queen harmonies again, but i love it.

Heard one of the new tracks in my mate's car earlier, Midge Ure should be getting a huge chunk of royalties for that one.

To me, Muse are just one of those bands where I initially won't like some songs. I'll like others, and I'll love some, but I won't really like some. But if I just put the whole album on repeat, soon enough I'll genuinely like every song. I can't stop listening to this album now, including the couple of songs I didn't really fancy at first.

Meh, not overly impressed with the new album. They're definitely getting worse imo. Still really like Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry, Absolution isn't bad. The last two i'm not liking at all.
Must be getting old, the thing I enjoy most off the new album are the piano solo after USoE and the 3 part symphony. Most of the other songs are good too but the 2 are the one that I enjoy the most.
Gotta say, I listened to album at the weekend. Liked it so much I listened to it again directly after. The first 5 songs are imo brilliant.
I've had this album for a couple of days now and I must admit that I'm struggling a bit to get into it. The first single is brilliant but after that it's a bit average.

I think their latest song is one of the best they've done for a while. Love it.
I don't really like their new song, which I'm sure surprises you, Solius. It was a B-Side, and it shows. They wrote it a while back, realised it wouldn't fit on any album (or indeed was good enough for one), and only dug it out when asked to make a song for the new Twilight film.
Can't say I did notice that actually.
The title/intro to FF1 on the NES when you pick a new game/load etc. Its the same scale up scale down tune ;p
Went to their concert at festival in Krakow today and they were absolutely amazing so I had the urge to revive this thread. It's amazing how they can switch from slow songs to absolutely mental ones and make the crowd go crazy, I'm all in pain after jumping for three straight hours, second day in a row.
Panic! at the Disco did a really great but short gig as well, and yesterday 30 Seconds To Mars were great - N.E.R.D. was fine as well but way behind the rest for me. Chemical Brothers was pants but then again I'm not into that sort of music.

I've watched that "The Legend of Manchester United" by Ananth, and I fell in love with their song Map of the problematique, it's grand!

Theres tons of musical nods in the album, there's Vienna, Queen, Glitter, and even music from Indiana Jones in there.
I just got back from one of their shows. It was an awesome performance and probably the 2nd best live band I've seen after Flogging Molly(who are amazing every time).
