Muralitharan retires from test cricket..

620 of his 800 test wickets are against Zimbabwe, West Indies, and Bangladesh, in Sri Lanka.

So now we must have a system that regulates world records according to matches played in individual countries.

Could anybody tell me how many wickets Warne took in India, SL and Pakistan? I dont really know. Should be educating.

He broke the rules and was punished for it but he didn't cheat in the gaining advantage sense. Don't be silly. He was just a retard which is hardly a surprise.

Muralitheran had to have the rules change because he was a chucker. Even with the rules he was a chucker except for brief periods during testing following extensive remedial training. In games he was as bad as ever. Of course after the victimisation of the umpires who called himn meant that nobody was going to risk their career by calling him again.
In almost any other country it wouldn't be an issue because he would have been weeded out as a chucker at the grassroot level.

How do you know he did not gain anything by his body enhancing drugs? In that case all athletes who have tested positive would not have gained anything by their acts? I am asking this because I dont know. Please enlighten me. The pills that Warne took: what purpose did they serve? Make him more handsome?

And with what authority do you imply that the tests were a sham? Maybe some hack journo gave the idea?

I dont wish to go into the motives of the umpires who called him. They are infallible and incorruptible.

As someone has posted before, Mcgrath's action also broke the rules before they were changed, so should he record then be tarnished too?

If his action occasionally broke the regulations then he should have been called on it by the umpires. Not that they could have spotted his slight and occasionaly transgressions. Muralitheran's arm was so bend during actual play when bowling one particualr delivery that a braille reader could see that he was chucking. And everyone knew it.
