You creating a thread for the U19 v Leverkusen tomorrow, GD?

---------------------Sutherland----------------------
-Varela--------Thorpe-----M. Keane-----Blackett-----
------Cole-----Enkangameme--Perreira--------James-----
--------------Wilson---------Keane------------------

Lineup: Sutherland; Varela, Thorpe, Keane, Blackett; Cole, Ekangamene, Pereira, James; Wilson, Keane

Subs: Henderson, Grimshaw, Barmby, Love, McNair

Awful goal to concede - Sutherland passed it straight beyond the centre back to the Bury player, who quickly played in Rooney for a relatively well taken goal. Sutherland seriously screwed that one.

Worst I've seen the ressies this season. No tempo or rhythm, and passing has been woeful.

Wonder if having 2 up top suits us. Played most of last season without any true strikers, this might be too much of a change.

The best thing about that was hearing One Vision played at half-time :D

Bury not holding back.

Awful half but we'll do 'em in the end. No way in hell Bury can keep this work-rate and aggression up for 90 minutes.

3-2. Will Keane again. Persistent from Blackett stealing the ball from the defender on the byline, pulls back for an easy finish for Keane

I just can't work out where Blacketts best position is. He looks better in midfield than in defence, and is a proper footballer, but just lacks... something. I can't put my finger on it. He really looks like he's got everything to have a good career somewhere, but where I can't quite figure out.

Blackett has really made an impact on the left, agressive and skilfull

Damn, I shouldn't have come and checked the thread, I'm still on 1-1 due to being in the middle of "The Big Score" when the match started.

What do you guys think of James? I really like the kid, I don't think he'll ever get a chance of being a winger for us, but I do think he may have an outside chance of being a left back for us. I remember thinking that I preferred Blackett over Fryers, but I see some things wrong in his game despite his strength and all that. I think James has more potential.

I quite like him. Always looks good on the ball for me.

Pereira is what, 16? And playing against these grown men. Shoen a lot of quality in this second half particularly. The more I see him, the more confident I am that only injury will stop him.

FT 3-3 - goes to penalties (even though it's a group game)

Nah, 17, nearly 18.

He's still young, one would expect some things wrong in his game
