Moyes So Far!

How can anyone argue that he should still be at the club.

Please remove the cancer before it spreads. Giving him £100m to sign aload of players to make us a shit version of Everton is utter madness.

We've done it numerous times this season.

We never create any space in the oppositions half because we are terrified of inviting them into our own half.

To add to this...

I guarantee he will call it a good performance and say we played well because we've passed it about a bit.

Very unlucky.

I always find it interesting to hear what Neville says. Can't be any doubt that he must get inside info on how moyes is seen from the lads.

Firstly is noticeable how much Neville does not agree with moyes' tactics and team selection, but he's particularly critical of 'style' and 'mentality'. Today he's been very critical of our possession and how is been 'useless'. We look bereft of ideas in final third.

Perhaps I read too much into it but I've noticed it a fair few times.

Martinez tactically outclassed him in that first half. Here was me thinking Moyes was supposed to be one of the best tactical coaches around, going by what some have said on here.

Funny thing was I thought Everton started poorly and looked fairly average for a while. The difference was that as soon as they improved, they scored goals. On the other hand, we just didn't know what to do with the ball. There was one moment where Mata had it and just didn't know who to pass it to because there was no movement from the other players.

Relax guys, there's no way the Glazers are giving this trainee manager £200m to spend. No fecking way.

It should close any debate (if ever was) on which one of Moyes/Martinez is better for a top team. I have also hear people on this thread say that Moyes is a good tactician. Well actually only nahelai, but it is as good as that Skysports journo who years ago said that Ashley Young is as good as Messi and Ronaldo.

Moyes is clearly trying to sabotage our chances of making the Europa league, making it easier for him to win the league next season. Genius!

MoyesIn!

He doesn't give me a reason anymore to watch the club play whilst he's in charge. So many hours without any sort of entertainment.

Awful awful manager.

Fox sports Aus has said that if we dont make Europa League then Moyes will be sacked.

I just dont think that he is up for the job and is lacking in something special.

Every time I wonder if I'm harsh on the guy and he deserves more time to prove myself, he invariably loses. Repeating cycle time after time this season.

His comments of Baines/Fellaini were not that great but Everton fans are bunch of classless twats for booing him.
He gave them 28 million quid for that useless lump Fellaini- Everton fans have no right to be upset at him for that.

Look how static we are, I do wonder if he practices much off the ball motion.

We can play possession football, Kagawa and Mata will control the game and pick players out however they actually have to be moving around them for it to work. And Rooney needs to be making runs in behind the defence not dropping deep when we already have Juanji there.

This will be it. This has to be it.

Also we are still yet to start the same first 11 twice this season. He has no plan. No consistency. No ideas. He's just useless.

When this day finally comes, I will cry tears of joy.

Could you imagine any other world wide billion pound corporation keeping a manager on that has such poor results and has cost so much money?

Martinez has made Naysmith to be able to dribble. Nay-fecking-smith!!

Same thing can be applied again tonights baring Rooney being our best performer and the tactics is not particular backward. :).

I admit, I supported Moyes before, but he is just embarrassing to watch as a manager. Why reward him with around £200m to spend in the summer? It is hard to believe he can turns things around in the future when he is this tactical clueless with the player he has and does not showcase that he has the balls to make big decision. Pay Jurgen Klupp whatever he wants and let him fix United. Else, we may stick with Moyes until winter and see if his appointment by technicality can improve next season.

It comes down to tactical structure. If you have your players playing fluid attacking football you run the risk of being caught on the break... Pragmatic approach.

How can Moyes honestly survive this... he had over a week to prepare for this Everton match and this is what happens.

Nani and Rooney have been toothless. Lack of pace up front is so obvious. United players are on holiday.

But he picked the right team, what else is he supposed to do?

1 shot on target and it was Barry on his own net. We are awful, and its not the players. The tactics are all wrong. Rooney up top in this game against Everton means we're playing with 10 right now. Its pathetic.

Exactly. He's given our static midfield as much position as it wants in useless areas, and with no Welbeck or Hernandez to make runs we just recycle until they catch us on the break. I don't even think he'll recognise what's wrong and just decide to stick Rooney in midfield and Hernandez or Welbeck upfront because the more strikers on the pitch the more likely you are to score goals.

Noticed that as well, especially after nice play on the right, where Lukaku was almost get a goal, but tightly marked by Smalling. "Everton plays with pace and purpose...".

Decision to play Jones as CB and Smalling on RB is one of the strangest you'll see.

And our attacking tactics is great, just keep passing the ball and something will eventually come off - yes, Everton's counter attack.

If anyone is willing to trust Moyes with 200 million, they're proper mad.
This scares me beyond belief, sure we can pick some of his best buys but there are plenty more he would rather forget about. SAF had a few shockers in the market but mostly got them right.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world Moyes was a good manager.

The more you see, the more it seems that we just made the wrong choice. Would Kroos or Shaw, or whoever really make a difference to this side? I don't see it. There's a more fundamental issue at work here. Top managers can make good players great. Moyes doesn't even seem capable of making good players good.

He's making good players mediocre more like.

If any of the 'give him till Xmas' brigade need any more proof of why he should be immediately sacked, then it's happening now.

You would think he could get a team up for a match against his former club, if they really believed in anything he's doing. They don't give a flying feck, and before people start blaming them individually, remember whose job it is to motivate them.

Lots of possession and zero end product all with three number 10s up front. A team totally lacking any leadership or direction. If he had any pride he would resign.

The reason david moyes will never be a top 4 manager is so blindingly obvious....his teams dont know how to carve other teams open.....moyes teams are famous for scoring from set pieces and crosses while defending for their lives against attacking teams ...its why we have scored 45 goals less than liverpool this year....moyes position will be untenable after the everton game....get van gaal in quick to replace this clown

Indeed. There's no point giving the man a bucketload of cash to spend on more great players, it won't solve the problem, he bought one of the best #10's in the world and he's looked mostly average since he came here under him.

Kroos, Reus, Shaw, Carvalho... they'd all be great but the best and most important signing we can make this summer is to get a new manager. Whether it's Klopp or Van Gaal, it doesn't matter. Moyes must go.

But he has picked him consistently, what else can he do?
