When judging Moyes after tonight's game we can't completely overlook the fact that Toure and Fernandinho look twice the player compared to any of our midfielders, and Rio and Evra can usually be relied upon to cost us a goal against the top sides.

Even if tonight isn't about him, he's clearly having no effect whatsoever on this group of players. He's had no effect on the players brought to the club since he arrived, you struggle to see any sort of logical explanation for him remaining manager.

The commentator here just made an astute point when talking about United being better away from home. That Moyes strength lies in settling up teams not to lose and even if United do spend big this summer and bring in some top offensive players we might not see the traditional attacking United next season.

Can anyone here even say for sure what our set up was like? Seemed like a midfield three at first; then we had Cleverley and Fellaini playing out wide with Mata dropping deeper. Add Valencia stripped off and ready to come on early in the first half to the equation and it was confusion all round. I have no idea what the plan was.

the disappointing thing is City haven't done anything special. They won by just being competent. This game has been a stroll in the park for them. Moyes must really have naked pics of Fergie and Bobby Charlton.
