Movies That Inspire..........

Braindead - inspired me to use a hover mower to mow the lawn instead of my mother and her mates.........

Anyways, Almost Famous is the movie that inspired me the most.

My most favorite movie ever.

Okay

Shawshank- as noted will inspire you to wake up every day and be grateful.

Good Will Hunting- inspire you to be honest with yourself.

Hoosiers- Basketball movie, but my favorite sports movie.

It's a Wonderful Life- every man is valuable.

Glory- American Civil War movie will make you appreciate sacrifice

I am missing a ton but hopefully this helps :).

nice one Rob

to that list I'd add

Stephen King's Green Mile - the decency of most people

and for me in sport - Field of Dreams - with hope many things are possible

others to foolow

Catch me if you can, The Heist, Ocean's 11, 12, 13 etc.

Love con movies and Hong Kong gang/triad/crime movies.

Starship Troopers.

Inspired me to kill some freakin' bugs.

I watched Fight Club and American Beauty in the same week. I was inspired to quit my job to go back to uni, in order to have a better job, life and lifestyle in the future.
I now work further away and longer hours.

Can't believe I still haven't seen that and Cast Away.

The goodfellas inspired me to a life of crime, drugs, illegal gambling etc etc. Unfortunately that didnt go too well and i was caught by the police and sentenced to 15 years in prison. I've got another 6 years left, but the judge said that i might be out in 2 for good behaviour!!! anyway i have to go now, the guard is here, we're only allowed 30mins a day to use the internet and i spend all my time looking at redcafe, Sky sports news and pornotube.com.

You serious?

How's the prison you're in?

The Pursuit of Happyness

Anyone seen this movie?

It was good and inspirational. Go watch it.

"You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can't do it. You want something? Go get it. Period" - Chris Gardner.

300 - inspires me to never go to war with 300 men against 100, 000 or so. You'll never win irregardless of how good you think you are.

The Matrix inspires me to do what the feck I like in life - it alerted me to the fact that everything might not actually be real so therefore it will be ok to slap bald people on the head, swear at random people in the street and steal ice-creams off kids

The Family Man (Nick Cage) makes me want to get married, so I usually don't watch it with my gf around... (I have proposed to 3 or 4 of my mates after watching this movie).

I know... I have been with my girlfriend for over 9 years now, so marriage doesn't make sense at all.

Thinking of airplane disaster movies... is there any reason why there is not one parachute for each passenger on airplanes? I bet the pilots have one each.

Passenger 57 - don't ever hijack a plane. There is always a hero of some sorts on the plane. (we all know the reality though)
