Up there with the Alexis news for me! Stability has been needed at this club for years and it's music to my ears that Mourinho looks to want to stay here a long time too.

Damn, maybe Mourinho's worry was about transfers and now that the board is seemingly ready to back him, the man is ready to commit his long-term future. I'm extremely happy, despite having some criticism at times for our manager.

What is also an interesting point is that both Pogba and Mourinho said the team is reshaping and playing more to Paul's strengths, which coincidentally has been the period after December and some of our best fluid football so far this season. Hopefully the negative football is gone and Jose is keen on developing the attacking style suited to Manchester United.

José

Finally stability back at United ever since SAF left ...all about winning and dem trophies with Mourinho!

Cool, I can see there'd be 1000+ pages on this when we're waiting for his extension contract to be signed at end of the next season and all of us would be feeling depressed and anxious. Get it sorted out before it going to end up much worse than Sanchez saga.

Last time at Chelsea he extended his contract end of his second season and was sacked in 6 months. Hope this goes better

With this Sanchez skulduggery, he's won me over again. The real Jose is still in there

Even his detractors can't deny he's leaving the club in a good state having pursued some of the very best players since his arrival. Long may he stay

Would be fantastic if he did. A brilliant manager and one of the best in the world. Between him and Pep no one comes close. I just don't get the hype around managers with potential that have never won anything. Great managers win things with teams that shouldn't.

No big surprise here,he's by far the best manager available and we are by far the best club that he can manage. As long as we keep improving on the pitch,he"ll definitely be here for the foreseeable future....

It’s no coincidence that this comes only a couple of days after Giggsy took over the Wales job.

Deserves much more credit from our own fans because he has basically turned this club around. Couldn't be happier because in my opinion there is no better out there for us and wouldn't have done it better with this team, so still special.

Reading this new article just shows that Sanchez wouldn't of signed it wasn't for Mourinho, neither would Pogba, Ibra, Bailly, Matic basically our best players.
