Morgan Gibbs-White

Cry more you wanker.
Totally two different scenarios. The player been impended was behind the play

Endo is blocking the guy directly marking VVD.
Varane is blocking a guy irrelevant to marking Casemiro.

Takes an ounce of common sense to notice this, so not surprised Gibbs-White hasn't understood the difference between both scenarios.

He should post the clips of dalot’s sending off for dissent and the dissent he got away with against us earlier on in the season. Failing that how about comparing the throat grab with casemiro’s red?

This would be why Forest have hired Clattenburg as a referee analyst. Because their players are unable to understand the rules

I like this player... the little arguments are meaningless. He is a hard-working player, who wants to make a difference and has the personality and character to make things happen himself. I like this.. he does have some talent too. I would like to see him given a go at United, but we may face bids from Pool' and Arsenal, both of which would suit him. And Spurs, even Newcastle, Villa... all could benefit from his energy, he is unique in that way.

We also have Mount, who at some stage must be fit to play. Not sure you could play the two of them, unless Mount plays a slightly deeper role (which is not his game).

Kid is a Bruno Fernandez Clone with a potentially hire ceiling. I've been a fan since his Wolves days. I like how he is maturing
My Forest friends think he'll start one of the two England matches. It'll be interesting to see, he was outstanding for Carsley's U21s when they won the Euros and seems to be maturing into the perfect Bruno replacement (upgrade?) - relishes the big stage and would be great with a better quality of player around him.

Just don’t want anymore pure 10s/second strike.
We need a proper playmaker, good on the ball, a third option in midfield. Not someone that vacates midfield and play like a headless chicken

That's what Gibbs-White is.

He's like a more positionally disciplined Bruno, but not as creative, and without checking the stats I'd say he gives the ball away less due to being more risk averse.

Didn't he play more as an 8 before last season? Would be interesting, but I still think the perfect midfielder for us is a different profile.

Think I said in one of these threads somewhere that I’d have him here in a heartbeat. Quality player with bite.

Huge United fan too

Being English and buying from an English club..... Would be too expensive to be worth it.

He's the sort of player I thought people wanted to move away from? I'm not a fan, I think he's erratic. Has flashes of quality, but no where near consistent enough.

I hope so. Ive always rated him from His england under 17 days till now. So similar to Bruno in style.

He is so, so good. The kind of player who raises everyone around him. He knows when to attack, when to slow play up, when to go long and his passing and vision are outstanding.

He's like the anti-Bruno. Bruno gets the stats without the play, MGW does the play but doesn't look great on stats. I know who I'd rather have captaining our team though.

He's a good player and he's a United fan too.

Yep he’s always got great awareness and a solid touch in those tight areas. Would probably cost too much though.

Creative player, he makes assists, He had 10 league assists in his first season with Forest and 10 league assists in his second season with Forest. He also got some flair and skills to be good in tight space. Everytime I watch him, he always play with high intensity. Very good and underrated player.

We’re playing with 2 no 10 now in starting XI. I think he would be perfect no 10 for Amorim and he would be good signing for us in the summer. He’s a United fan too including his family. That means the moment when the club comes with offer, he will probably tell Forrest that he wants to leave and makes it easier for us.

would snap your hands at a chance to sign him. very good player

Know those players you have an irrational hatred for? Yeah, this guy. Just seems like a dickhead.

Superstar in the making. Not one of those flashy ones who steal individual headlines but one of those who actually make a team better.

Totally agree. Would love this type of signing. An effective player, proven in the league and still progressing.

I bet the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and City could be in for him.

I wonder how much Forest would demand given they paid £42m for him in 2022

£80m+ definitely, and obviously they will not sell until Summer at very least (if they make Champions League, probably not before the end of next season anyway).

I think on top of that they have some money behind them now and have an interesting project. Prying Edu from Arsenal is quite the get.

There's a lot to like about him. Premier League proven, high intensity, good physical attributes, decent output of goals and assists, good age, vice-captain of the team, etc.

Probably the fee would be a challenge, and there is also a decent chance Nottingham Forest qualify for the Champions League, which he may be interested in staying around for (especially given we may not qualify for Europe at all).

In their place, it probably makes more sense to keep building on the foundations they have in place rather than tear it apart at first sight of success indeed. I can realistically see them making CL next season, they're in a good position to do that (I presume top 5 will be enough), and even if they fail to finish in CL spots they are virtually certain to qualify for Europe for the first time since 80s.

Them and Bournemouth I really want to see making Europe, it'd be a testament to the fantastic work both clubs have done to get here.

Brilliant player but would be way out of reach for us, budget wise. We're no longer in that position. Need multiple players over different positions and need to spend very wisely.

I really like him as a player. He’s got that fiery attitude, and he’s got the talent to match it. He’s so composed on the ball and rarely gives it away. If he keeps playing like this, it’s only a matter of time before a big club comes calling for him.

Every good team has players like him those who can fire everyone up when things aren’t going well. He’s not quite at that level yet, but he’s definitely heading in the right direction. Apart from City, who are basically a bunch of robots, every top team has these kinds of characters. Honestly, if and when we replace Bruno, I think we should seriously consider him.
