I think it could be. This is a game I'm really looking forward to. Same concept as LBP really in that you can Play, Share and Create. Could well be something to rival Mario Kart, though we'll see. The only thing so far that I am maybe disappointed in slightly is that there is no 'iconic' characters, like a Sackboy. But then with the ability to create your own characters I suppose it is only a minor issue.

Should be out this Spring, whenever that is.

Due for release in Spring, so we could see it towards the end of April.

How about they create a beat'em up which always you to mod your own fighters? we could call it ground breaking and all that.

What a load of horse manure.

I'm just concerned about your megapixels. 720p doesn't deliver a megapixel over the whole screen.

I also don't think that Elvis was referring to the changing of the characters, but rather the building of your own tracks.

May 25th.

If the recent glowing PS3 preview and PSP preview of ModNation Racers caught your eye and revved your engine, good news from the Sony camp today: both versions of ModNation Racers will hit stores on May 25, 2010. The PAL release date has not been set. ModNation Racers is the lovechild of LittleBigPlanet and Mario Kart. You'll race around shooting items at each other, but you can also create your own racers (called mods), karts and tracks to share online.

As an added bonus, fans who preorder at select stores will get exclusive downloadable racers and karts from some of Sony's favorite franchises. Go with GameStop, and you get Kratos and the "Kart of Chaos" inspired by God of War. Order from Amazon and you'll get Ratchet or Clank. Preorder with Best Buy, and you'll get Uncharted's Nathan Drake. Preorder-happy people also get one of four mystery mods.

Some of your favorite PlayStation characters are headed to the game, as well. Both Ratchet and Clank will make an appearance, along with Nathan Drake and Kratos. Of course, these characters are available for those who pre-order the game. If you pre-order the game from GameStop, you’ll land Kratos and his Kart of Chaos. Amazon pre-orders will give you Ratchet or Clank, while Best Buy is offering Nathan Drake and his Jungle Jeep.
