I'm not sure how long he was it or what actually got him banned but they were consistently wumming in the transfer threads for the past few weeks.
He was on the Man vs Bee thread talking about having dinner with Roman Atkinson and Jonny Depp’s Agent. This wasn’t the same dinner as Salah’s agent.

Yeah, he'll be up there with the top scorers in the league again and he'll have a nice mid-season break with no World Cup as well.

Not sure, really. Looks like they could’ve afforded this without major repercussions on the rest of the team wage — Alisson is contracted until 2027(!) and van Delegate 2025. Even Trent and Fabinho on the next rung down have around equal lengths left.
Those must have been layered deals or ones that increase as the years pass, particularly Alisson’s who signed a 6 year deal in 2021.
It will be interesting to see what happens for sure - can't deny that he's probably earned that kind of wage though!
