Man Utd with dribblers would be better to bet with someone like Wirtz, already a star or bet with someone very very young like the Brazilian Estevao that Chelsea just bought. Both can fail, but Mitoma already isn't a bet for the future.
PD: I like him nonetheless and would be more than welcome if he does't come as a proirity, without a huge price tag over his head and gain his place without much pressure and become an asset.
The lad also has lots and lots of attitude and stamina. In similar terms, and laso Japanese, to snatch Endo from Liverpool won't be bad either.

I wouldnt recommend Mitoma due to age, cost and position.

The nearest role he would play in Amorims system is wingback. But he lacks defensive skills and physicality.

Edwards has always naturally been a wide playmaker to be fair. Its why as a youngster he drew Messi comparisons

Because wingers who actually have the defensive work rate/discipline for the role are not ubiquitous. I'd not like us to sign a winger and try to convert them to wing back. They should have at the least the base level of defensive work rate first. Currently the only winger I desire us to sign with wing back potential is Quenda
 
Also, Mitoma is Japanese so he fills the Asian quota, not the foreign player quota. That way they can sign both Duran and him.

I think we’d have got crazy money for Rashford but he clearly still has ambitions of playing for England so will want to stay in one of the larger leagues around Europe!

It’s 65 million euros according to Ornstein and we’d never let him go this late in the window, it’s like Arsenal trying to get Caicedo in Jan with the player pushing to leave, we just said no as it doesn’t work for us.

If they’re still interested in the summer and he wants to go, it’ll be different.

Not convinced we would considering his wages and the fact the club wants him gone. He currently earns around £250,000 per week more than Mitoma does currently.

His contract would also probably have crazy appearance, goals bonuses etc whilst I feel Mitoma's would probably be quite modest in comparison.

Would be a tasty front three of Ronaldo, Mane and Mitoma though.
