Jesus those last 4 were gut wrenchers and agree Mane was a shocker as well
 
I remember watching Aranguiz in the 2014 World Cup and being mad he was going to Leverkusen for 7M. Hasn't been incredible but been very good and would have given us some mobility and desire in a double pivot which we lacked before Fred, and 7M is nothing.

Yeah not getting one of Thiago or Kroos when we were so close stands out as the big missed opportunities of the post-Fergie decade transfer wise for me. A passing #8 makes everyone look better.
 
Missing out on Edwardo Camavinga last summer was a big mistake especially given the fact that there was not a lot of competition for him and we badly needed a CDM. He signed for madrid on the last day while we stood there like idiots saying Ole was happy with the midfield options at his disposal. He is better than tchouameni who everyone is raving about this summer
 
Go back a few years and not making Robben part of the Ronaldo to Madrid deal, cheaping out on Hazard, taking Lindelof/Bailly ect when Van Dijk was at Celtic/Southampton, backing out on Kroos and Thiago.

Well over a Billion spent since Fergie and how many outright successful transfers?
