Pick a player who played for a European club team that were runners up in three or more competitions in the same season without winning a competiton in that season. Preseason Tournaments do not count. Supercups do count.

Thought more would go for Pearce. Did not like the pool on that round so played it relatively safe from the start (kinda thought someone would go for him still).

Yea, I didn't expect people to go for him in round 1, but expected a few to go in round 2 and 3. Surprising.

It's a good pool, but not many GOATs. Just one from what I could find. So it's either someone was messing up or pulling a trick here.
