I’d imagine Jim keeping the shape and Rijkaard upgrading Stielike. He probably managed to get the best of this round upgrading two positions.

there were some tasty combos depending on the needs. One was Zidane/Vieira which crossed my mind but Pele was too good to pass on even as a single upgrade.

Nah, Matthaus was never on the cards. The base with Essien and Schweinsteiger is good enough IMO to provide protection to the back four whilst freeing the attacking 4 to do their thing.
I thought about Maradona but Pele / Garrincha was too good to pass.

Besides Pele works best with a striker up front (Batistuta) and Ronaldinho will add up some playmaking that will compliment Pele.

I thought about Zidane but Pele adds more goals and obviously a lot more quality in other areas.

Nah, I wouldn't (or won't) go for him in the end. Chose a bit a different route, but yeah, a very good fit and quite close to make the list.

Pretty sure my 1st will be block. Let's see...

Was hoping for different pool tbh. Lots of GOAT's neither of which would probably be a good use for me considering I'm already set on attack..

I've scattered my blocks a bit. Not sure who you will go for..
