Yep, he does well there he'd be in the crosshairs of every top club in Europe maybe even the super clubs. I dont understand why we liverpool arent in for him, why dont we ever do the transfers that make sense its so frustrating.
 
Palace spending over £30m on a player! Don't like Pardew but did get the best out of Ba and Cisse. So could potentially be a good move although personally think he could do better.
 
Batshuayi hasn't even agreed to join them, and I really don't think he will. Heck even picking them over West Ham would be a bit crazy too. Spurs are interested but I doubt they'd meet the €38m Marseille want. I've seen scattered links to Atletico too.

For that money they could have got Troy Deeney. They missed a big opportunity there.

Not surprising at all. The likes of Juve are after him why would he take a massive step down?
 
How has Palace managed to find nearly 40 million Euros??? If they had that money, they can't be risking that much on young, unproven players surely? £32 million could have gotten them a top tier player.
 
I'm a bit surprised some clubs doesn't check with the player's representatives if he's interested in the move before they start bidding. Then again similar reports came out when Stoke started bidding for Shaqiri last year.

The money in the league is insane. Palace's five biggest transfers in their history total to £32M and now the club might spend that in one go on a player like Batshuayi.
 
When relegation candidates are spending £32m on players, you know Top 4 isn't guaranteed for anyone.

Batshuayi could be the 'Payet' type of signing. Whoever gets him won't regret this decision.

Which either makes that or this Palace bid bullshit.
 
I want him so badly, one of my favourite Belgian players. It makes sense as well if we can offload Benteke, that's why it'll never happen.

:annoyed: Just wasn't sure. Deeney isn't a bad player and on English market in current climate he would come at a cost of around 20£m, 25£m. Maybe even more. And not everyone knows League 1 players...

You do know about the new TV deal right? Every club is getting about £80m just through that alone this year.

I still don't think Spurs will pay that much for someone who will be second fiddle. Unless of course Pochettino plays him upfront with Kane, which I doubt.
 
As good as done to Chelsea then since Di Marzio seal of approval has been given. Have to admit I don't know much about him besides the goal in Euros. Should we be worried with him joining Chelsea. Any french league experts?
 
With Bouhafsi and Di Marzio reporting the Chelsea move I'd be absolutely shocked if it doesn't happen. Trust those two more than any other journos these days.
