Another great performance and great result for his Swansea team. Very interested to see how he does in England... ahem Wales ;)

Done a brilliant job at Swansea so far and I expect them to comfortably finish mid-table this season. He has kept up the good football that they played last season and some of his signings have been fantastic for very small fees. A manager to watch out for.

Still the best player in training according to the swansea players.

One of the most elegant footballers to grace the game...the only player that Iniesta reminds me of, a little

Good results for him. Need to see how his team does against better teams

I'd say the bigger question is how long he stays for. With Getafe he got them playing good football and they beat the likes of Barcelona, Spurs, Sevilla, Atletico and got draws against Bayern Munich and Valencia. He only stayed there for 11 months though. He got sacked at Spartak after 7 months, and he resigned from Mallorca after 14 months.

Great appointment by Swansea for is pulling power alone , whether current result is down to him , it's way to early to say.

Really hope he does well, a true legend. Unreal really that one of the best players ever has taken up a job in the Premier League with pretty much zero fuss being made.

Let's not start sucking him off just yet. He's had a good start and seems to have bought well, but Swansea are only two games in.

Did I hear the commentator in the Liverpool game imply that Laudrup's good start was due to the inheritance from Rodgers? Not completely without merit of course, but still left me shaking my head.

When some reporter asked 'You played with Pep Guardiola at Barcelona',

Laudrup responds thus:

"He would maybe say that he played with me".

So very true, phenomenal player.

Better manager and much less of a cnut than Rodgers. Swansea have done well with Laudrup.

Laudrup is a legend in the game, having played for Barcelona and Real Madrid and will be remembered thus. Rodgers is a fecking nobody (at least, as of yet)

Great, great player, love watching him.

He has the best through balls I'v ever seen probably.

Still, it was silly not returning from holiday for Euro '92.

True but doesn't sound like him, he comes across as very sensible and not up himself.

Funnily enough I really liked Rodgers when he was at Swansea. Oh how 6 months changes things eh?!

I agree with the better manager thing though. Swansea don't just keep possession for possessions sake anymore. They're much more positive and get forward more, most of their time on the ball isn't just between the back 4 anymore either.

He comes across as a really nice person Laudrup. At the beginning of the season when there were those reports of dressing room unrest and players saying he doesn't train them properly, he handled it all really well.

The best footballer out of the current active managers? I don't think Maradona really counts

He'll be gone as soon as the going gets tough.

Building on the good work done before he got there. He's a sensible man and hasn't changed too much too quickly. His signings have been fantastic and they seem better defensively this season.

Yes, it was a good appointment by Swansea. Wants to play possession football and seems to be shrewd in the transfer market.

All the hype has been about Michu, but Chico has been a fantastic signing too.

He comes across as a very intelligent person. I like how his Swansea team play their possession football. Very calm in possesion, and pass the ball well. And it's not like they pass it among their back four. They play some neat stuff around the opposition box as well. Hopefully he continues to do well with them, and then is given a chance at a top club. I'd really like to see what he could do at the top level of management.

He wasn't just on holidays. He couldn't work with the coach and wasn't available for selection as long as he was there.

Oh right, that's me told!

Still, it's a shame that the country's greatest ever player didn't take part in their greatest success.

One of the truly elegant players on the ball in history. His game still looks imperious by today's standards

He's indeed been doing very well at Swansea: used the basis laid down previously to his appointment, has made them stronger in defence (with Chico being brilliant since the beginning of the season) and a bit more lethal in attack. Last year, I enjoyed watching Swansea play but I thought at times it was a bit toothless upfront, just passing for the sake of keeping possession. Now, there's a real intent to go forwards all the time. And as it's been pointed out, he's been very good in the transfer market.

Really enjoy his interviews as well, comes accross as an intelligent, nice and quite funny person. Very happy to see him do well.

Denmark were based in Leeds during Euro 96. Had the pleasure of heading over to Weetwood hall where they were training and met him, his brother Brian and of course our Schmeichel who was at the time my hero. All top blokes... Pete even let me take a penalty against him! Wish him the very best at Swansea, it would be amazing if they could win the league cup. Imagine swansea getting to a trophy before the arse!

Seems the Swansea board have made a lot of good decisions over the recent past - appointing managers who play a certain way and developing the team year on year.

They're great to watch and Laudrup has added some real cutting edge to them with some excellent signings.

Hear he is after another player from Spain, contract nearly up and they'll probably get him for less than £1 million. Probably turn out to be another bargain.

Only one question needs asking...

Did you score?

Class video. What a player! When the through balls start showing he is really taking the piss

Indeed. The tricks at the beginning are all identical, makes it look so simple, yet you see the defenders time and again ending on their arses  His through balls were unbelievable though.

One of my favourite players ever. "You played with Pep", what was he thinking?
