He’s got pledge’s… For feck sake. Where’s a sugar daddy when you need one…!
Would this bid add pressure to the Glazers and make them consider their future with United or will it just lead to a few chuckles from the Glazer family? And everything goes back to normal shortly after
How much is his £10m from 1989 worth today? That's a nice starting point.
£240million in today's value.

1989, not 1889.

For real buyers to come out, Glazers would need to put the club on Sale. At the movement club isn't officially for Sale and any bid is hostile bid and very few investors wants to go through that route. But as Gary Neville pointed, it is time to sell. Club requires huge investment in infrastructure and player recruitment, and with dwindling share prices, unhappy fanbase with owner and abysmal performances on the pitch, there is very little hope that Glazers are willing to invest in the future of the club and as soon as they run out milk to squeeze out of United, they will sell. But by the time United would be Aston Villa level.Whatever about this guy who by all accounts appears to be a charlatan, what I will say is that I was really encouraged by the amount of people who were lining up to buy Chelsea.
At one point I thought that for us to be saved it would literally have to be the Saudi's or no one. The only thing giving me comfort is knowing with a reasonable degree of certainty that that isn't true. I think when the opportunity to buy the club arises, a good amount of credible people will come out of the woodwork.
I just hope it's soon.
No.Does this bloke have enough money though?
Of course he doesn't. As if the former owner of Carlisle United that also ran them into the ground would have enough money or clout to buy Manchester United. Spoofer.Does this bloke have enough money though?

As long as he brings KITT with him, loved that car as a child

Didnt have enough money in 1989.Does this bloke have enough money though?
To be fair to Knighton, he isn't saying he has the money. He's the guy to bring the people together, who do have the money, to bid for the club.
I believe once there is a viable option the fans can see, then they will get behind the Glazers out movement more.
I think people who do have that kind of money won't let him through the door. They use other and better channels for these kinds of multibillion deals to come through. To be fair to Knighton, he isn't saying he has the money. What's the hostile part about this bid as mentioned in the headline? Doesn't Glazers control majority of the shares that matter (over 50%)?
He means he is bidding for something that is not technically for sale. I think you might be thinking of a "hostile takeover".
That's confusing - where's the hostility at?! Will he yell the bid in an angry manner?
"TWENTY POUUUUUNDS, GOOD SIR!!!!"
