The other day I was trying to think of a goal that Carrick scored against an opponent that I wasn't sure of,
and I started trying to name his goals for us off the top of my head...

managed about 6 or 7 before I went to transfermarket to view his statistics.

So I ended up wondering about you guys' memory regarding players who've been with us for long periods of time,
but didn't score many goals (Carrick, Park, Fletcher etc) for us.

Just spent 10 minutes trying to write Roma and QPR, should really read the whole post
 
Tottenham. 3-0 during LVG's first season. First and only game I've been to OT so far. Fantastic day.

One from the CL and three current non-premier league sides (one of which has never been in the PL).

Oh sorry, did you make it? Feck I'm sorry, it's a good effort. I was just doing that internet keyboard warrior thing because I thought it was a randomers quiz you'd linked!

Also I'm from Northampton so some skin in the game in terms of that :)

No worries mate, yeah I'm trying not to do my work so I figured I'll try making a quiz.
Wasn't that much of a hassle :)
 
I remember he went on a marauding run from the midfield and scored. It must've been against Queens Park Rangers.
 
Portsmouth? I was at the game, Old Trafford and Crouch was playing. I know I'm getting forgetful as I am questioning whether Crouch ever played for Portsmouth. Am sure the game ended 1-0

Just noticed there was a quiz..... I totally missed that.
 
I only ever remember him scoring goals against Roma and then teams that wear Blue/ Blue & White (Reading, QPR, Wigan, City, Everton, Portsmouth)
 
20/24. Most were pure guesses, mind.
 
Roma at home. That’s the finest goal. In the same game, Alan Smith’s goal is also one of the best lightening counterattacks.
 
I actually got really far. I missed Galatasaray and Northampton. Got QPR at the death as I thought I'd already typed them.
