why do certain people have avatars and most dont?
They're not avatars, they're images embedded in an html script in their taglines which only the admins can tinker with. Baz got his for donating to the caf, Weastie & Jason when they hit the 50,000 post mark and the likes of Twisted Woody and Fredthered for helping Niall out with player profiles for Keano.
We've debated avatars to death and don't want them simply because of the drain on bandwidth, the time it takes to load pages, the fact that half the cocktards on here are incapable of resizing images and would feck up the forum instead and that the other cocktards would keep us mods busy policing pornographic images and the like. Same story with sigs.
