I was thinking the same until I looked it up. Assuming the 'who cares' message is a recent picture & the one everyone is talking about.

He looked like a clown, it's just funny. No reason for any sort of "outrage".

It weakens your post to use this word. It's presumptive and even though you're not doing it consciously you're using a word designed to belittle opinions by a broad generalisation.

For example I watched the match with some friends yesterday, some were early 20s and thought he looked stupid - it gave a sense that he decided to wear an embroidered headband just for this tournament having done so very infrequently if at all during his career. It makes him seem quite conscious of the spotlight and stage, which fits the rest of his career in terms of being lots of flash but little delivery. If Messi was wearing one I doubt it would draw the same ire, same goes for plenty of players with longer hair who have done so for a long time

Dressing fancy is fine. Until you miss 4 sitters and need Weghorst to bail you out.

And if he really doesn't care about the "haters", just ignore them instead of releasing a fecking song to tell us you ignore the haters. I hardly ever make songs, but if I did they wouldn't be about things I ignore.

He is not at all terrible for Oranje though. He played extremely well in the 2 games leading up to the tournament too. His look-at-me to quality ratio is just off.

Cantona could back it up with his actions. The same canny be says of Depay
