Seems to me you're taking a veeeerry big leap there. Dont see how that will change many people s opinions about him as a player. ll take that tin foil hat from ya now.I don't want to be 'that' guy, but is there a reason he's done this a day after he's put in one of the worst performances I've seen in a United shirt?
The cynic in me can't shake that thought.
I mean, it’s a nice gesture, but there’s something about a multimillionaire footballer with so much money his pockets are overflowing with cash, handing it out to homeless people before going back to his mansion that just feels a bit off. I’m sure it was done with good intentions.
Bringing cardboard boxes that have the text "Hobooits" on them are insulting to the homeless community.
On an unrelated note, can I have a tenner too please Rashford.
Ten quid? The tight git!
He earns hundreds of thousands of pounds a week for doing virtually nothing. Surely he could quit posing for social media and dig a little deeper.
Come on, Saudi. Help us out!

It's a parody account.I'm sure his intentions are good, it's probably his PR team that took the picture and asked him for a permission to publish it. I mean what else would they do, PR team has nothing else to do outside of publishing stuffs to make their clients look good, even if the effect is sometimes the opposite.
Yes mate, it was planned at 11pm last night. They had an hour to clear out the local TescoI don't want to be 'that' guy, but is there a reason he's done this a day after he's put in one of the worst performances I've seen in a United shirt?

Dumb idiots. Ironic. It’s dumb as feck. His advisors are idiots.

A £10 bag of heroin costs exactly…. £10. And here’s Marcus handing out these drug tokens to the community that has the biggest drug problem. His heads gone.
Nice gestures lose sincerity when it's obviously done for the camera. Might be a cynical way of thinking about it, but that's just the world we live in now and pretending otherwise is naive. The genuinely nice guys are those who donate anonymously without any selfish motives. When you film it for the world to see it's obvious you just want praise and attention more than wanting to help someone in need
Performs much better on the left wing.
Loving everyone being hooked in by a parody account.
Also the state of you lot.

Isn’t it more cynical that had he scored a hat trick yesterday we wouldn’t have this discussion about his charity work?
Fair dos (also I've seen it mentioned that it's a parody account).I know for a fact that he does something similar pretty much every week now when he's available.
There's a lot criticise him for at the moment but helping to feed kids and families in the middle of a cost of living crisis isn't one of them.
This has only served to solidify the fact that The Athletic is a mouthpiece for footballing elites. Nowt wrong with that - just the commercial reality for mainstream publications.
Na do nice things, that's great. But we are allowed to be reasonably cynical when it's posted to social media. You can do nice things without being seen to be doing nice things.Footballer: does nice thing

Apparently he was even telling them where they could get it from and took a few of them in his Rolls Royce to collect.A £10 bag of heroin costs exactly…. £10. And here’s Marcus handing out these drug tokens to the community that has the biggest drug problem. His heads gone.

apparently rashford only stayed there to take that photo and then left immediately as “one of them” tried to talk to him.
I heard he stood there and ate a 4 pack of Mars bars in front of them, left the wrappers on the floor then leftapparently rashford only stayed there to take that photo and then left immediately as “one of them” tried to talk to him.
My bad. I didn't bother verify this non-important news. Doesn't disprove my current view of The Athletic though. They've shilled often enough for the Club and directors. But such is corp comms.Or it served to solidify that people will believe any old guff from a parody account tweet and won't even bother to check any information at all before jumping in two-footed with half-baked takes.
