Looks to be a tidy player, one who will once again be able to play in numerous positions. Can't really think of too many rb's who are 25 and under who are rated as highly as this lad. Let's hope he comes here and nails down that position.

Yeah, I don't think the pilot would've maneuvered away from hostile planes like he did around Austria if it didn't carry a VIP such as Darmian. It looked like the plane was headed for Paris but it changed it's direction to England. Maybe it was tricking potential hostile stealthplanes by pretending to go to Paris so they would think it was the wrong plane.

Edit:

Look at that change of direction. World class piloting.

Legendary. I'm starting to think that Darmian must be flying the thing himself.

I'm not sure. Darmian is better than Clyne, though we don't know how well he will acclimatise. I'd put him about even or just below Coleman's 2013/14 level though. Rafael on form is better than all three, it is just a shame he hasn't played to it for about two years.

It's all about opinion of course, but Rafa hasnt shown the form he once had when he was shit-hot a few seasons ago. Its a real shame, as i thought that fella would be the best in the world..

I like this lad Darmian though - he's exactly what we need & he seems like a kid in a sweet shop coming to us; given his interview at the airport earlier..

Terrific, terrific this place is during transfer windows. Keep up the fantastic work lads. Tracking planes, making gifs, discussing tactics, pics from satellites - all this in one place full of Reds, Heaven!!!

I know somebody that does and asked them to check the flightplans from Italy to Manchester. The AHO may not show in the callsign as lots of private jets have there information blocked on FR24.

No, I'm pretty sure it's this: http://fr24.com/C25B/6c3517b - which is just landing in Linate now to pick him up (so slightly late)

Now you have to make friends with someone from Madrid airport.

Reposting from the newbies for a couple more Torino fans who have just joined. Nice to hear the views and nice that they seem pleased he's coming to us rather than someone else!

Hi, I'm a new member from Italy. Darmian played four seasons for Torino. In four years he has improved dramatically, and in my opinion he's going to become one of the best players in his role. Really clever player.

Hi, I'm a Torino fan, Darmian is a great player, I hope the best for him, he gave so much to us. I go to matches every week and I can tell you that he is a very solid player, he can play on the left and on the right, he is good at defending and attacking and, very important, he is very professional, you will not see him in clubs, pubs, going around in the night, he concentrates only on his job and, his training and his family. I'm very happy he joined Man Utd., it's a team to which I feel a big empathy, because, like us, you suffered the big tragedy of the plane disaster. Cheers and f**k juventus!

Do most Torino supporters end their messages with f*ck Juventus? Or is it the same one?

It's nice to see, in both the transfers we've made so far this summer, that there's seemingly been no animosity between the selling club and it's fans, and us. Makes a refreshing change.

Juventus is my 2nd club. Not liking this f**k Juventus bit :nono: Thanks for Darmian nonetheless.
