Upgrade on Darmian? How bad has Darmian been for your lot for Debuchy to be an upgrade? Debuchy started off ok but the injuries he got I think have finished him, watching him play this season was like watching a championship player thrown into the CL. He was absolutely terrible, might be down to lack of match fitness but it was scary how bad he was.

Is it really that hard to loan a right back? I like Darmian, but we're ridiculously low on numbers in defense, it cost us a lot of points at the beginning of last season and we've still not fixed it.
Good fullbacks are rare, so yeah it's hard to loan a right back.

Debuchy sounds a lot like Darmian! He started well and went downhill from there. Darmian is guilty of some of the worst performances by a United player in recent times. None more so than against Sunderland on Saturday. As @Lawman says, his bottom level is really worrying.
