Matheus Cunha

His position is a #10 behind the striker in a 3-4-2-1 similar to us. Thats like saying Bruno or Mount are primarily wingers, which isn’t the case.

His position is wherever the stats show his position, not where you say so.

The analytics show his position is not the same as Bruno.

Thats where the left #10 plays under a 3-4-2-1. He mainly parades the left hand side of the pitch but he isn’t stuck to the left. A winger is stuck to one side the whole game. A #10 doesn’t stay in one spot. Next time watch him play so you will get an idea.

Hmm Rashford's height is a weird one... He does seem fairly tall but not sure he's 6'2, let alone 6'3. Is listed as 180cm (5'11) and that isn't short (taller than the average UK male which is 177cm), so that seems about right to me, until I just googled our squad height stats and apparently Garnacho is also 180cm and Eriksen + Mount are 181cm.

So just googled a bit more and apparently his brother says he's 185cm (6'1), albeit according to someone on reddit, and he's also 6'1 on fifa, and on here https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marcus-rashford/profil/spieler/258923

Seems about right.

Sorry for thread tangent, this was more interesting than the work I got up to do at this time in the morning...

Back on topic...I can't believe how much Cunha has improved compared to how crap I thought he was in his first 6-9 months in this country. He did show some nice touches and link up play, but the looked like a rabbit in the headlights in front of goal, so I thought Wolves had massively overpaid again for another fairly dud young forward (after Fabio Silva).

Still has the link up play but now looks stronger and much more confident around the box. Could easily have had the top 3 in last months MoTD goal of the month if the scousers didn't rig the online voting.

Not sure yet though if the priority attacking signing should be for the out and out striker or one of the two 10s. Based on their form under Ten Hag we could've done with improvements in both areas but Hojlund and Rashford have already shown promising signs under Amorim, so depends on how they get on from now until the end of the season, plus Garnacho and Mount.
