Was just about to bump this thread again, and this post stood out for... obvious reasons!

It'll be interesting to see who they get to replace Greg. One of the best things about Masterchef is that it's not that serious, so I'd like the replacement to be easy going so that the vibe stays the same.

I don't watch much British TV anymore, but my favourite presenter of the past few years has been Alison Hammond. I think she'd be great on anything :lol:

I actually wouldn't mind if one of the food critics who popup every year take over. I really like Grace and whatshisface. The big guy who looks like a pirate. Jay Reyner!

I reckon Gregg will make a full and frank apology and that will be the end of it.
 
I’ve always found him an insufferable prick. Like I genuinely question if his IQ is sufficient enough for him to be presenting without a carer present.

It’s more apparent on ‘In the Factory’ where this bald bellend just waltzes around the factory shouting and screaming nonsense to the staff showing him how stuff is made. He quite clearly just gets in the way and is, in general, a dick.

Pretty sure there was an episode where sherbet was being made and they showed him a huge vat of the stuff.

‘Wow! I just want to stick my hand in there and eat it all! Wow!’
-forced laughter from worker who knows that would ruin the entire batch and waste £1000’s of product-

All the examples of him being a prick and you went for the most innocuous one.

Can’t say I agree. He made what could’ve been a pretty boring show somewhat interesting with his enthusiasm. Not easy to get excited about stacks of paper being forklifted onto a lorry, but somehow he did it.

Yeah he's great on that show. Had no idea he was a twat always quite liked anything he's been on
