Well that final sentence is a nightmare.

‘It wouldn’t lend credibility to your posts[,] but [it would] at least show that you’re literate.’

If you’re going to tell someone to check their grammar, then perhaps you should get it right yourself?

Always the insecure ones correcting others...

Fixing someone's spelling or grammar on the internet as a point to bring them down is one of the most clingiest things I see online. Something I expect from highschoolers who just find out the difference between you're and your and start pasting it wherever they can.
Clingiest?

I got the highest marks in English in school and was always encouraged to go into writing. Yet Id say I rarely if ever manage a fully grammatically correct post on here. Mainly from typing on a phone. That's why the whole idea of using a couple of typos to take someone down is so fecking stupid. It's a football forum at the end of the day.
Agreed. Besides, its I'd, not id ;)

I'd like to see Greenwood get a run out, too. But if we wanted to 'sure' up the right side, why not have A. Young play out there? Better than Mata or Sanchez at the moment. I know it may not be the most popular shout, but it's kind of what we got.

I'm all for having the young ones get in there, but some Ji Sung Park tactics might be useful at the moment.

On another note, I like Mata a lot, but most of the time his physical attributes are not there. Sanchez just can't get any form!

Doesn't matter how talented he is, if he cannot get to the field to help the team in need. He has been injured for god-knows-how-long already since Ole came in and gave everyone a chance? Shades of Owen Hargreaves there! :nervous:

Such a shame he’s injured. Would have definitely made the bench tonight and see some game time v Southampton
His time will come. Need a game or a time when there's little or no pressure to prove himself.

Games are a bit intense at present

Is this a serious post?

What? He's only been injured for like less than a month

The newbie system needs some changes i see

He can't go from the youth team and the reserves to leading our attack in the Premier League ffs. He needs to be brought in gradually and without pressure.

Reminds me a bit of Rashford in his younger days. He looks like he needs to grow into his body a little bit more before he hits the adult game.

We might as well sack him then.

Greenwood gets injured and now he's the new Owen Hargreaves

Lets send him to China!

Only Rooney, Lukaku, Barkley etc that peaked physically at the age of 18. Comparing Rashford today to the Rashford under LVG he has put on a decent amount of muscle. This is usually the case with younger players and their developement, and i expect the same will be the case with Greenwood. Hopefully it will be the same developement as Rashford (getting stronger while not becoming less mobile, as was the case with Lukaku).

Other than the lanky frame they are very different players. Rashford was/still to some degree a "limited" player. Extreme in some areas and lacking in others. Greenwood is as far as i can see one of the most complete players (relevant to his positions) i can ever remember seing at his age. He really does not have many weaknesses, if any. Really interesting to see how he developes.

I can't wait for this kid to get into the first team.

I think we will be patient with him, take him on pre season next year and let him loose. He already looked pretty good at the start of this year, 1 year makes a big difference at his age.

For somebody like Nicky Butt to say he's special, he must know we've got a player.

Well that's exactly what happened with Rashford and he hasn't done bad, has he?

I think Mason is ready, he looks ahead of reserves level, it's a shame that he isn't fit for today but his first team debut isn't looking that far right now. Yes, he must be eased in carefully but we must give him oportunities before may comes and the transfer window kicks in. We might have a Sancho-like talent in our hands that could be ready for first team football overlooked because of incoming transfers.

Injured for 2 weeks, he wasn't even injured for the Reading game. A journalist took a guess that he was going to be involved without any actual quotes in the article & people just presumed he was injured when he wasn't involved.

So, no one here knows anything with regards to the severity of his injury and when he's expected back?

Exactly, everyone kept saying it was such a shame he was injured and I said “you guys are just saying this to cope with the possibility he just may not actually be involved” and I asked for proof regarding the injury. Still waiting.

This is the first time Ole has wanted him involved but he’s been injured. He simply wasn’t selected for the Reading game.

MEN said he was on the coach with the rest of the team.
