He is incredible. I'm such a fan already
Many of us thought his finishing was too good not to translate in some form. We were wrong.
I'd say he favours his left, but Mason will tell you he's both..So you think right is his weeker foot? I am leaning towards that too but it's so hard to know.
He could've still made it here when you look at players like Lingard who IMO weren't as talented as Wilson. But with Wilson he just didn't have the mentality along with a few others sadly. Below is what Warren Joyce said about him Januzaj and Macheda..Many of us thought his finishing was too good not to translate in some form. We were wrong.
We should play Gomes, he has shown more from his first team cameo.Patience
We have older players who are ready to make the step up. If he is not ready then we should not play him. He's 17.
Comparing him to Wilson is completely different.
Wilson was a speed merchant who was a decent finisher, but never really had much more to his game.
Watching Greenwood he's just such a complete player, even if he isn't scoring he's creating. He's going to grow into the perfect false 9/complete forward IMO.
That freekick is beautiful, so far out and such amazing curl
How did he do in general yesterday?
He's gonna be world class. It's depressing that's he's light years ahead of Rashford and Lukaku technically.
Maybe tone it down a little. When was the last time an academy player went on to be world class?
It's hard not to get excited about him to be honest, he genuinely does seem a special player.Maybe tone it down a little. When was the last time an academy player went on to be world class?
Not unheard of, it's just their "weaker" foot isn't so.this is amazing
I can't remember a player scoring a free-kick with their weaker foot before
The fact he's taking free kicks with both feet is ludicrous.

Of course it requires talent. Just saying being two-footed isn't all that rare. Being two-footed and being able to execute that is even harder, but not unheard of. Forlán scored free kicks with either foot regularly.Must be a pretty rare talent.

I know Forlan is famed for his two footed abilities. Any others?
@Trizy
Does Dembele score free kicks with both?
Cazorla (see above)
Using Forlan as an example is a bit daft because he was one of the very rare two footed talents. Barcelona's Demebele too.

The poster said he had never seen anything like it. I said it wasn't unheard of. Don't see how the example is daft since that's a fairly recent player who happened to play for us as well.
Brehme was very two-footed, although he wouldn't whack the ball with either foot but rather prefer one foot for power and another for precision.
And before I'm told it's daft to bring up a player from the 80s/90s, the relevant thing in bringing him up is the different use for either foot. I always found that an interesting point, particularly in how he chose either foot for penalties depending on the pressure associated with the situation.
Ginola, Maldini, and maybe Zambrotta are two footed. @Classical Mechanic
Ivan Perisic the chosen one is pretty 2 footed. He takes corners/freekicks with opposite feet. Thanks but I was being a bit more specific in wondering how any players could score amazing free kicks with both feet.
