Leave Klopp alone!!!
Every young lad should have a poster of Oddegard in his room, just to always remind what you can do wrong.

What regs?
Plenty of 17 year olds go on loan?
Maybe his big salary has something to do.He should go to Leganés,to stay near Madrid if Madrid accept to pay 50% of the wages
People writing off a 17-year old should calm the F down.

For a moment I thought that sporting director was our Silvestre, that made me chuckle a bit.
What Ishdalar said, more or less 3 m euros net/yearDo you know roughly what he earns? Problem with loaning him out if he's on big wages is that smaller teams don't want to pay loanees big wages if they're inexperienced, I think we paid the whole of Nani' wages while he was out on loan in Portugal.
Yes, you are right. I tried to compare them with Getafe but they are in a very different situation. In that case maybe wouldn´t be a bad idea to give him for free. Apparently during the preseason he seemed very lost, almost worse than in the first preseason in Australia.Don't think Leganes could even afford 10% of his wages
Well, maybe, Leganes had less than a 5M € budget last year, Odegaard wages are 5,2M gross. This year the tv deal should earn them 43M but still, why would you bring a kid for 2'5M a year when you have a squad of hard-worker low earning players? If I was at Leganes I would only want a loan if it was free

This happens if you mix all the marketing that he created with his tour and the "my c*** is bigger than yours" Madrid´s attitude in the market.
That's a feck tonne of money for a 16 year old (I know he's older now).
Either way the kids going to be set for life by the time his contract ends even if he doesn't fulfil his potential.
He just recently got a contract extension.
Think they said to 2021 on the Norwegian radio.
Don't think anyone's writing him off to be fair.
He's Freddy Adu x 2.
I didn´t know that he has signed an extension so probably he has accepted that is not ready yet, I think that his problems are physical and tactically. If he leaves where would he go, I don´t think that Madrid academy is bad. I don´t see him playing in France or Germany (in first league teams). Halilovic had a decent season in Sporting, that could be the case of Odegaard.I doubt that a loan move would make sense. He is far too raw for first league teams and struggle to start enough games. Teams that take him on a loan, wont have enough patience with him. He should leave if he doesnt progress in Madrid´s second team..
People really hate others who are financially successful.. Really bitter stuff, it's sad

People also really hate those who squander their gifts in pursuit of quick cash and fame. It's sad.
Dont mind him, he's clearly bitter that Ødegaard didnt join the amazing Dortmund'17 year old millionaire who may still have a fabulous career ahead of him looks at his poster and thinks 'where did it all go wrong?'

He stuck at Madrid, what was a kind of forseeable. He had public troubles there, wanting more playtime and was a little bit ranting. Is that a good progress in your eyes? It was the worst decision him and his father could do. There were a lot options, where he would have played in first league games from the beginning, and eventualy have international football too. Talking of teams like Antwerpen, Gladbach, what ever.. Moving to Madrdid you can do 2,3 years later, even if he joins Madrid when he really has proofed that he is class and a respected player in the age of 25 or what ever would be enough. Now he is senselessly in the second team of Madrid, wants to play in the first team (which causes great atmosphere in his second team i guess) and having questionmarks over his head.
17 years old? Squandered his gifts? I'll have some of what you are smoking my friend. You are talking like he is a 30 year old guy who sat on the bench his entire career - he is just a kid and just because he can't get into the Real Madrid first team at the age of 17 does not make him a failure. He has plenty of time to get his chance.
If he is still not getting a game at the age of 20 then we can talk.
He won't be getting a game at age 20. I'm calling it now.
Not until he realises there's more to life as a footballer than money and thinks about what's best for his development. I think that obviously includes fecking off his money-grabbing father and we all know that's unlikely to happen.
I'm not saying not getting into the Madrid first team at 17 makes him a failure but for all the fuss that was made of him and touring him around Europe's biggest clubs, to end up at the one that practically guarantees you're not going to make it at any point just because of the glamour and pay packet means he's a fecking idiot and doesn't care about his own footballing future, just his financial one.

Madrid don't do young players, hell they barely develop the idiots that choose them over other clubs when they're the latest and greatest thing anyway and then feck them off for the next shiny plaything when the time comes. No young player should ever choose to go there unless they just want the ability to say they've played for Real Madrid. Especially when they've got a clause in their contract that means they train with the first team instead of the team they're actually playing with, it's ridiculous from a development point of view. He's basically a marketing toy.

17 year old kid isn't in Real first team. My god, he must be shit. There are a hundred ways to look at it, but essentially training at Real Madrid with some of the best coaches around isn't going to hurt anyone's development. He plays competitive football (not pointless u18 etc..) and has made first team appearances (maybe he wasn't entirely ready).
Is playing first team, top league football at 17 a good idea? Well Rooney is broken 3 or 4 years before his sell by date, so I don't really see the rush. He's being well paid and given a great education. Plenty of time. If he's good enough he'll make it work, if he's not he got to play for Real Madrid. Win win in my eyes - he's just a little kid.
Spot on.
Its not a question of failure or not at this point, its a question of what is the best for his development. And therefor Madrid was the worst decision, adding this stupid "wants to train with the first team and play with the second team", its a ridicolous decision from him and his father.
and balaks speech "he is now financialy save", please whats that for an argument?
It is a very valid point to make re: the financial side of things - I suspect if you were in this kid's shoes you would view the money side of things one of the most important aspects of your footballing career.
Yeah you are right, i mean if he wouldnt have joined Madrid he would be starving now.
If it doesnt work out with Real Madrid he can move on in another year or two but he probably wont earn what he is getting now or what he would earn if he breaks into the side and plays with Real.
Thats difficult. They will give him on lean yeah, with a buyback-clause, like always. Madrid is bad at making talents. Do you really think he would earn to less at Antwerpen,Gladbach,Ajax or somewhere else, man they dont get paid by nuts, even in this age. Your argument is none.
