I agree it's poor from him but I can sort of see his thinking. Especially with the Sanchez signing. It's like the club believed upgrading the LW position was more urgent than the RW position where we had no natural right sided players.

We don't have any information but as a general comment it doesn't matter whether you are in a good or bad mood, whether your boss like you or not, you need to act professionally and it means being present and doing your job the best of your abilities. Sanchez’s endeavour last night (in a friendly) was more than Martial would contribute in a cup final. Practically every manager in world football would have Sanchez over Martial due to that fact alone, never mind their other qualities. It’s gone beyond the point of redemption for him at United now. Hopefully his sympathisers will get fed up of making excuses for him now, too.
