seems its a different one

Manchester United have held talks with the agent of Real Valladolid goalkeeper Ricardo with a view to signing the 30-year-old before Saturday's transfer deadline.
Pedro Bravo has admitted that he has discussed the move with the club and that United are close to signing the player.

"It is true that I have spoken to Manchester United and that the English club are interested in Ricardo," said Bravo

Well it seems a little confused doesn't it? I'd say that Chuck Q and his connection with the portuguse keeper is more likely.

Ferguson: Targeting keeper

Ricardo could be a United player before Saturday's transfer window deadline if terms can be agreed with agent Pedro Bravo, who is in Manchester for discussions with the club.

Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson is anxious to bring a new keeper to United amid concerns over injury problems affecting French number one Fabien Barthez.

And a deal for 30-year-old Ricardo, who joined Valladolid from Atletico Madrid in 1998, could be under way by this afternoon.

Bravo confirmed: 'It is true that I have spoken to Manchester United and that the English club are interested in Ricardo.'

A Valladolid spokesman said no official offer for the keeper had yet been received, and added: 'Until we receive an offer, Valladolid cannot comment on this matter.

'Valladolid traditionally sell an important player every year - this year we have not sold anyone yet.'

Meanwhile, United have denied rumours that they are planning a swoop for Derby's Estonian goalkeeper Mart Poom.

You're right, I can't think why us and Arsenal were so strongly linked for such a crap keeper.

I can't think why we bought Taibi. Hey, shit happens you know. Bottom line, he's still with Fenerbahce, a team which is not in the Champions League.

Anyhow

I'm now fully confused!

But nice to see kevthered falling on his clueless backside yet again

Yep, his reputation is disintegrating - the only one he got right this summer was Rio but that was hardly a secret was it!
