Apparently an offer from china has been received by fellaini. This is being reported by a newspaper in belgium. Not sure about credibility but the paper says some other NT players have offers too.

Hope he stays, there's a place for him in this squad. He can play several positions, a serious threat in the air and seems well liked in the dressing room. No point in getting rid of him
I'd avoid much more squad turnover before the end of the season. Schneiderlin and Depay, yes for sure, they haven't played at all and you can get good money for them. But Fellaini has had plenty of minutes. Lord knows I'm not a fan at all, but Mourinho knows what he is doing. He'll be here until the summer at least. I am fairly sure of that.

There's not another midfielder for squad rotation if you take Fellaini away. Doesn't make any sense, unless there is a midfield signing incoming. More than likely Fellaini stays until summer at least.
Hopefully just means we get a decent fee for him in the summer.

Not surprised at all with just 6 months remaining on the contract. They couldn't have timed the contract news any better after the goal he just scored.
The contract extension is just to protect his value. He can now potentially be sold in the summer for a decent fee rather than losing him on a free, so it's in fact good news.

that's great news. I like it that he still stay with us. not great player, but he has great character n mentality as United player. also useful as squad player in our team. far better n more reliable than memphis n morgan.

At worst, it would like most said, protect his value and could be sold for higher fees. Mourinho's style, as (most probably) evident with Schneiderlin's transfer. I am not his biggest fan, but I do admire his mental toughness, compared to the likes of Schneiderlin that seem to hide away from the actions.
