Marcus Rashford (out) | signs for Villa on loan

Here we are loaning players that we can't sell again. This club is cursed.

In a year or 2 we'll face the same problem with Bruno.

Amorim clearly has no time for him, so sticking him in the best shop window until the summer is about all we've got.

I'd favour Dortmund over an Italian club, he'd probably struggle in Serie A.

I'm sure the buyer option will be magnificent, and an offer that Utd can't refuse...

100% sure...

The last two tweets from Di Marzio is a little contradictory? One says they will propose loan with option to buy (not obligation) but the other says they want to focus to sign Rashford rather than a straightforward loan.

Would be a great project for him, Zlatan will know him and he will be under a coach that can revive some goals. He can justify his worth potentially to Milan and maybe we can see a fee.

Milan wanted Zirkzee and if I'm not mistaken were willing to pay his release. So you'd expect there to be appetite to do a deal after the loan for a agreeable sum for both sides.

reads fine to me. They want to structure a deal that allows them to sign Rashford easily if they want to keep him.

Marcus Rashford remains Milan's great transfer market target.

The Milan tip up and located in Marcus Rashford the big target for the winter market.

In the past few hours, the club Rossoneri he made a concrete proposal for English talent to his agents, trying to bring it to Milan with a formula that provides for an initial loan, accompanied by a right of redemption.

Rashford,
currently at Manchester United, represents a high-level profile, capable of giving depth and unpredictability to the Milanese attack.

His speed, the ability to jump the man and the nose for the goal make him an ideal player for the Sergio Conceiçao.

Milan is serious for Rashford

The Milan is serious for Marcus Rashford: the English striker remains the great target of the Rossoneri transfer market. Loan proposed with right of redemption to Manchester United

However, the Milan it is not the only club concerned: also the Borussia Dortmund is carefully monitoring the situation, ready to enter the race to ensure the performance of the English attacker.

The strategy of Milan to focus on the right of redemption instead of the dry loan. It remains to be seen what the answer of the Manchester United and if the Milan will beat the competition of the BVB in this market challenge.

I know he’s public enemy number one at the moment, but it’s not that surprising that a few decent teams are after him. He’s a good player.

If he goes to Dortmund he’s going to bang the goals in I reckon. The transitional nature of the Bundesliga will suite him big time.
He will score goals in Milan as well. He could be their best player.

Obligation or option with some really easy achievable targets should be the only way. We can't risk loaning him because he will get found out easily like Martial with Sevilla.

He'll smash it in Italy and we would look silly having to sell him on a cheap obligation.

Can’t wait to see their offer. If it’s any more than a half eaten twix I’ll be amazed.

Milan wanting a cheap loan deal is hardly encouraging. If they were coming up with a deal to buy him this window, then it's good for him

This move to AC Milan makes no sense to me, especially if it's with OPTION to buy, not obligation. They have one of the best wingers in the world playing in Rashfords favorite position, and Rashford will cost them a significant amount of money.

If it's an option, with the way Rashford has been going lately, they will know by end of January that they will not be signing him permanently. If the deal happens, it will have to be obligation to buy, as we will get rid of Rashford wages guaranteed, and his sale is calculated in a greater factor in PSR terms, as he is homegrown player. I have a feeling that if it's with an option, comes summer time, nobody will want him once he drops a stinker in Italy, and we will have even bigger problem. We need a Sancho type of a deal.

As predicted it will be tough selling him outright without taking a hit to anyone outside of Saudis. His fans on here hopefully have had a reality check by now on how Rashford is viewed by the biggest clubs.

1. Conceicao is primarily a defensive coach
2. Zlatan knowing him has no relevance whatsoever
3. The guy that plays in his position is literally top 3-5 in the world. This version of Rashford will never take his place

All in all, Milan is a pretty bad choice so I can totally see it happening.

I think all parties- Rashford, Amorim and United will benefit from a permanent move. Rashford's heart is no longer in the club (despite his constant assertions of being a livelong United fan), Amorim wants a 110% committed player and United needs a cash injection.

Anything around 25million pounds should be considered.

Forget it, we’re not selling him for any profit, we will be lucky if someone takes him for free without us subsidizing his massive wages. He has been really bad for more than 2 years now and has an awful attitude to boot, clubs won’t be lining up with good offers given his wage demands.

If he's really leaving, Italy would be a great destination for him. A change of environment will probably do him good anyways, but what makes a move to Milan/Juve/Inter/Napoli a great option is how favourable that league is for players with great pace, power, and ball carrying ability. Rashford excels in all three, and in a settled, well-drilled team (which he's only had at United in the 20/21season in the last 6 years, plus a half-season in 19/20 and maybe 22/23) it's only up to him whether he becomes one of the best players in the league or not.

Won’t he be fighting with Leao for a starting spot?

If we got a loan fee and subsidised half or his wages would save us around 5 million.

He can teach Zlatan how to point to his head in a mysterious and thought provoking manner. You know, get people talking. He would love that
