Marcus Rashford (Out) | Rashford: “For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”

Love the fact that some people just can't get over the fact that yes, he isn't close to being good enough but neither is anyone else in our attacking line. So he's the best of a bad bunch but considering Ineos failure, that's our best option.

I'm just playing devils advocate since other of our attackers is equally bad or even worse..
I’m not even gonna hate on you, and I think the others are being too harsh. If you ask me, Manchester United should take notes from you so we can get the most value out of his transfer fee. That’s all I care about in the conclusion of this Rashford drama. Nothing personal, strictly business.

As with others I’m far from ‘hating’ but I’d rather have someone with less talent who’s actually willing to put a shift in.

There’s very little worse in football than a player who thinks he’s better than he is and is ‘too good’ to put in a shift.

Hear ME out.....

Rashford will go Colorado Rapids but immediately on loan to Arsenal who will cover his fees. He'll go for 25m with buy-ons.

Lot of money coming in to American Football and with TV revenue on the rise over there and likes of DAZN and BEIN looking to buy rights and Netflix and YouTube waiting in wings also, American Football us where he'll land ultimately and of Stan Kroenke Arsenal and Rapids is my guess.

I don't think this scenario will happen.

I find Rashford's situation really weird. Amorim just arrived at the club and he decides that Rashford doesn't meet his standards and he won't play him.

Amorim is very open about Rashford and why he doesn't select him. It's very similar to the Ten Hag-Sancho feud, yet Amorim doesn't receive the same criticism.

Not really what happened. It’s not as if he instantly decided that Rashford didn’t meet his standards. Amorim arrived, obviously having done his own research, and gave every player a fair chance to prove that they should be a part of the club going forward under his management. It’s easy to read between the lines, especially in regards to comments about things tried in the past without much success, and interpret the decision to remove Garnacho and Rashford from the matchday squad for the derby, with the subsequent comments about performances, attitude, etc, as Amorim decided to opt for a new approach where the pillows are taken away and either the players adapt or they don’t. I have little doubt that it was highlighted to Amorim what’s been tried in the past in regards to getting Rashford back to his best. New manager, new tactics, a bit of leeway straight away and then you see where you’re at.

But yes, it is funny to compare it with the situation between Ten Hag and Sancho, where some fans decided it was unfair towards Sancho that Ten Hag commented that he was left out of the squad due to his performances in training.

Saw on talksport Alex Crook seems to claim he has it on good authority that he (or the people that represent him at least) has spoken to multiple agencies.

Think Rashford is trying to play us all for fools. He doesn’t want to look like the villain.

Loan him to Arsenal for 6 months, hopefully he helps them beat Liverpool to the title and increases his value and saleability along the way, not like we are directly competing with Arsenal anyway, worst case scenario he comes back and helps us tear it up in the Championship next season

Agree, this is a PR battle. Look at this previous masterpiece:

Cringe alert.

I don't know who he's trying to fool here. It's a very obvious attempt to change the narrative but the way he's doing it is lazy and condescending. I wish him well when he leaves, but he does himself no favours in the process.

I think its simply time for him to leave.
He probably should have been moved on last year or the year after Covid. He has lost a step of quickness... and anybody that watches him play can see that. He isnt as explosive as he was, and he is extremely predictable in his current form.
Ive always looked at the great teams. They have the chemistry and cohession that it takes to perform and win at a high level. A great team/ manager has his/ her finger on the pulse of the team and when you start to see weaknesses in the foundation you have, then you move to fix it. Under SAF, we did this and we did it well. Once he left we started hanging on to players that were actually great players a couple of years ago, but developed cracks. Those cracks are now a lot bigger because we settled and didnt move on the unproductive players.

Its all cyclical if you think about it... we are in the rebuild just like Liverpool was when they had Gerrad hanging around.
City will be the same way.

I think Rubion is a good manager and I like his direct approach. I wish Ten Hag would have had this same approach and he may still be here.
Got to get rid of the dead weight.

If the rejected Saudi bids are real, he won't go anywhere this window. Nobody else is gonna bid anywhere near that region or pay his wage demands.

He has never met with agencies personally but I’m sure his entourage (brother ) has and will

Briefing, briefing and more briefing. "Rashford rejects X" = "Rashford deserves/expects Y, so don't forget how good he is!", "He's impressed in training since being dropped" = "he's not an unprofessional sod, honest".

I don't believe for a second that Saudi have offered him £35m a year.

I personally am sick to death of this phony. Obviously we can't shift him that's why all of this shite is coming out today.

As expected, the 27 year old doesn’t want the trip to Saudi just yet. It’ll be some going to shift him. I can totally envisage he and Amorim “making up” and he’s here until the summer, at the very least.

It’s bizarre though, given the way he was totally out of the side for 5(?) games running I’d have thought something was ready for January. Too much of a fantasy to expect that so suddenly, I guess.

My goodness, everyone's got the briefing today haven't they. PR agency earning their money.

27 year old that plays like a 35 year old.

Agree this guy knows no bounds, he's briefing the press now with his BS PR. New agency coming in clutch.

Absolute cnut if he rejected that. He’s not going to find clubs in Europe willing to pay him what he wants
Nah, think that actually needs to be respected. By no means a ‘current incarnation of Rashford’ fan but at least this shows he still values his footballing career above money. Shit for us yes but it’s fair if he wants to stay in Europe.

Have you seen the state of players over there ?
it’s completely believable..

Saudi Pro league is about big names. They could care less about how much someone presses or how well they train.

It's fair enough if he doesn't want to go Saudi, it's his choice at the end of the day
he’ll end up in america, where he’ll be able to fully concentrate on his career as they don’t have any starving kids over there because they’ve all been shot in school.

This is a Rashford brief, BS he got those offers. Ever since it came out we were willing to sell it has been tit for tat PR between him and the club.

Goldturd is full of shite. No idea why his tweets are being taken as fact. Go watch his bs content if you really are taken in by falsehoods, guy doesn’t even own up to who he really supports.

Haha I love how "surprised" the players are every time one of them is called out in public for underperforming. Have any of them even glanced at the table in the last 2 years!?

I'm "surprised" that Marcus PR department looked at his 4 goals scored in the league and thought, lets bring everyone's attention to that!

FFS get rid of him asap.

We have to make it categorically clear that he will not play if he decides to stay here. See if he's willing to sit out 3.5 years not playing any football.
