Marcus Rashford (Out) | Rashford: “For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”

No Mount or Bruno. Options are limited and if he’s doing ok in training, no reason not to be in the squad… we still pay his wages.

Yeah and knowing our luck he picks up a knock cancelling any possible deal in January

He’s been left out and said he would like to leave there should be no going back from that it’s yet another mistake

Rashford fan in the house!
Goldbridge is on a victory parade tonight, his agenda has finally reached it's climax. He no longer has to be sly about it.
I'm sure he'll milk this now until Rashford is sold.
Neither you or @Rojofiam evidently watch the United Stand. Goldbridge has been a massive fan of Rashford and regularly defended up. His position for a long time was always that he wanted Rashford to rediscover his form.

@FrankWhite even your assessment of Goldbridge's video today is bizarre. He specifically stated several times that he does not see any problem with Rashford's comments and basically said something along the lines that it is fair game and probably works out best for both parties.
If you're just giving shout outs to people that are too intelligent to be taken in by a dickhead who makes his living conning idiots into thinking he's a Manchester United supporter with an inside track while spouting constant toxicity because it gets the most clicks then let me join you; well done @Rojofiam and @FrankWhite, top lads both of you.

Sorry to bump a 2 week old conversation, but it's the first thing that came to mind after I saw today that Goldbridge has put out a shit-stirring tweet again, that probably thousands of gullible fans will sadly lap up without thinking twice about it, whilst it's almost certain that there's 0 truth behind it.

Stuff like this is why I hate Goldbridge and it's clear what a shit-stirring prick he is.

He's going to get boo'd though
Just prior to Amorim coming in, when he was at the basketball game. I saw nothing wrong with him being there, not sure I would have done the same but that's me. Saw nothing wrong with the clothes either, he has a lot of money. The grills though, aside from it being corny it looked like an obvious red flag... this guy is moving different, he's not from that life... It's odd. It looks like a guy that maybe has lost his way and could be crashing out. I'm thinking, people need to be talking to him, but all this noise won't help. He needs good advice which apparently he's not getting, and there were already reports about his mental health.

I know I know.... redcafe hard men will say it goes with the territory, and maybe they've never really struggled with mental health... and seen how debilitating it can be, just like physical health. The overwhelming response everywhere has just been feck him, we want him gone yesterday.... Which is.... at the least, very sad. But that's me, that's how I feel, and that's ok.

I don't disagree with you to be honest, but I think he'll get boo's tonight

Rashford was dropped off the match day panel for 4 consecutive games if he doesn't get the message now he'll never will. And he also should know only for suspensions to Bruno Fernandes,Ugarte and Mount injured he probably wouldn't be selected tonight.

I hope not
I'm only going off the disdain I've read on here the last few months. Match going fans aren't always on the same page, but the 'new challenge' stuff when your manager is actually trying to challenge you may not sit well.

There is almost no real cost to making shit up on social media, even when you’re wrong.

The grift is strong.

Redcafe hard men? Very you, casting vague unfounded criticism.

Are you new to football fans criticising under-performance?

And now you have decided he has mental health issues anyone criticising him is some sort of monster?

Were you not thread banned from here for hyperbole already?

I hope he scores in every game..
He is more than capable of performing well whenever he plays. The last time he decided to do it was when he needed a new contract. Maybe he does it this time to get a place back in the starting XI?

The last time "he decided to play well" was in a totally different tactical role and team environment than anything ever since, if you're referring to the 2022/23 season.

What is the deal here? Are you trying to get me banned?

Not a great statement from Amorim who basically said we have no players so here he is. Would have been nice to hear that’s he’s worked his bollocks off in training but that’s not the case.

You can choose to make as many excuses for him as you want. I don’t think there ever will be a point in time when people acknowledge that he is not what they imagined him to be.

Darn I missed the prematch interview. What did he say exactly?

Caf will crash with the meltdown
Hope he bags a hat trick.

Anyone who wants him sold (myself included) should hope he performs as that is the only way to generate interest to find a buyer willing to pay us a fee on top of his astronomical wage.

Why is that an 'obvious red flag' and what is 'not from that life' if you don't mind me asking? Are you judging that he is losing his way based on those grills alone or what's your justification for that?

Nothing too harsh just that we’re struggling for players and he has to pick a side. Didn’t sound like much has been resolved, he could have easily said he’s been picked on merit if he wanted to bury the issue

We finally have a manager that does not sugar coat things, refreshing to see.

Interesting, sounds like he's washed his hands of Rashford. It was quite quick to suddenly give up all together, I wonder if he had a handover from RvN too.

Agree. Horrible bloke. 2m followers. Incredible

The life where wearing grills would not stand out or look corny, where some of your peers were doing the same maybe? Who else is wearing grills in the UK? What other footballers? Maybe it's a new wave I'm not privy to I don't know... but is it really that strange that I could see this as odd or out of character?

I truly believe that it will come out years later, whispers about mental health do not come out of nowhere, and stress is a powerful thing. A footballer in his position is going to try and front it out and pretend that everything is okay, they wont be reaching out for help, maybe they believe it looks weak or that it would be a distraction if it got out..... just a bit of empathy on my part mate. I didn't bring it up as some thing to argue about I brought it up because its relevant and I don't really think many understand mental health well.

He is vile. Doesn't give a feck about the club.

It'll be interesting to see how he does without the shield of 'one of our own' support from fans.
He could do OK if he applies himself.
Somewhere like Napoli if he's ambitious.
Saudi pro league if he's not.

If Napoli want him to come play LW then we’ll take Kvara off their hands please.

Conte like hardworking players in his teams. Like McTominay. Rashford won't last 45 minutes with Conte with his half arse running, pulling out of tackles, ducking headers and not tracking back. I don't see it, no way.

The club has let players like him, Pogba and Martial down and we're doing the same to young players like Garnacho and Hojlund who are not even in the same tier of talent. Going from worse to worse.

Rashford has had his own issues to contend with, so I'm not absolving him of all blame, but can you say this club has guided any of our youngsters well in the post Fergie period? The club and the fanbase has helped create this mess. We've overpaid for and over hyped young players.

They think they've made it. Even Henderson thought he was the next best thing between the sticks while he was at United for instance. He seems humbled now at Crystal Palace, his level. Brandon Williams was on huge wages too for doing nothing and many even thought he was better than Like Shaw. Mainoo is going to be destroyed by this club as well if nothing changes. The culture is toxic. Unfortunately I can't see things getting better anytime soon

Hoping you mean Goldberk and not Marcus?!
I thought it was pretty clearly about Goldbridge given the post quoted was almost entirely about/by him. If not, for the avoidance of doubt; Goldbridge is vile. Goldbridge doesn't give a feck about the club.

I agree, and I assumed it was about Rashford as I've seen similar wrote about him. I should've read for context.

Maybe you don't too. How about you stop being judgmental, jumping to conclusions, and getting annoyed at others for doing the same thing that you are doing - inferring things that fit your own narrative.

Merry Xmas and a happy new year btw.

So will he exit early or late in the transfer window? Hope he doesn't suffer any injuries in training.
