Fantastic point. Seems to be that when he's under more pressure (due to his own contributions or lack thereof), the PR machine spins at NASA level velocities to make him look like he's just being misunderstood and/or scapegoated, or he's having a hard time.
I started following united as far back as I remember (even writing the players names and numbers on the back of my jammies, much to the discontentment of my mum lol) and I have never seen this level of drama. Sure, we had issues back in the day, like the Ronaldo transfer saga, Rooney handing in a transfer request, the infamous Beckham hairdryer (or boot) incident, but it wasn't like this.
Get him out ASAP. Let some other club deal with all these shenanigans. Let's get back to focusing on what happens on the pitch. That would be nice.
