Any fee mentioned so far?
Anything close to Transfermkt’s 54 million valuation should be accepted post haste.Any fee mentioned so far?
I guess we’ll exercise the contract option so effectively we’re negotiating from a position of him having two years left.
Good. If left to the dithering club we'd never move forward, we'd just keep renewing contracts. The more of the old bunch who want to move the better. Forces our hand to bring in new players and gives Ten Hag the opportunity to bring in more suitable playersEveryones jumping ship. The ship they all contributed to sinking
This rumours/news first made its rounds end of last season. There is a pattern with our players or most high earning players in general.I don’t understand the angling for a new deal argument. He’s been god awful for practically 2 years, he has no bargaining leverage.
Unless it was leaked by the PR team because the current club is used to panic and give contract extensions to "preserve value"These stories are bullshit. A striker who had stunk the place up for two years and regressed massively is not going to be on any list of any top club looking to challenge for domestic and European honours.
It's not like United don't have the contacts to quickly find out if its genuine interest or notUnless it was leaked by the PR team because the current club is used to panic and give contract extensions to "preserve value"

My guess is his camp is keeping dialogue open in case he doesn't recover this season so that he moves on next season, and this is like a last chance season from both sides. We won't have a squad left soon.
He wasn't god awful the season before last. 20 goals and 13 assists is not god awful anywhere, let alone in England.
Granted he was shocking last season but he wasn't alone there.
This story is nonsense anyway. PSG won't sign him.
Id sell and get Antony
He wouldnt last a seasonI have no problem with him leaving, but for his own good I hope he ends up at a club where his competition is not Messi, Neymar and Mbappe
Absolutely this! We'll probably double his wages thoughRenew at 100k/wk. If not sell. Simple.
The club will know exactly what is going on, but will offer him a deal regardless. Rashford is just looking for a massive wage out of usThe club are mugs and will fall for the PSG thing, he'll get handed an improved contract that he absolutely does not deserve. If anything his wage should reduce.
I smell bullshit.
Not even PSG would be silly enough to pay good money for a player who has faltered for two seasons and more.
All screams of a new contract whether that be from Rashford's camp or United softening the blow when they signed him up on a pay rise.
If the rumours were true in anyway, bite their f**king hand off and get shot! Waste of space.
Its not two seasons or more, its a season and a half, coinciding with the time where we've been at our very worst as a team.
Why shouldn't a top team think they could get him back to a high level? Obviously he's been poor for a while, but let's not pretend he has never been good.
He had one very good season where it wasn't top class. He's not a 300K GBP player, that's probably the minimum he's going to ask for. He'd be the 3rd highest earner next to Varane and Sancho, which is insane.
At the end of the day, is Marcus Rashford worth £300K+ per week as United's number 10 who may have to start week in and week out like Maguire, regardless of performance? That undermines EtH. The club have to say, Marcus is worth this much and nothing more. If he doesn't want our offer, then he's got to be moved on because we have a wage structure to redevelop.

Even though many people were scoffing at the time when Barca amd PSG (apparently? ) showed an interest a few years ago it wouldn't of surprised me if it was true because Rashford did look like he could kick on a level and become a great player but things have changed drastically since then. It's not just a loss of form he's suffering from but he's looking completely burnt out and anytime time now I see the PSG or Barca interest pop back up I feel he's using that interest from then as a basis for now. When I seen that Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham were all interested in him just a short time ago it became apparent its all PR bullshit. Its not two seasons or more, its a season and a half, coinciding with the time where we've been at our very worst as a team.

The soul was ripped when players like him and Martial were handed 200k+ a week contract. The concept of earn your pay went out of the window.I know he's been awful.
I know he was never world class even at his best.
But I would really feel very sad if he left.
Feels like the last bit of soul getting ripped out of the club.
Got too shredded.I thought the burnout excuses should atleast go away after he had like 2 months off last season?
