See players like him proves to me that we don't need to spending 100 mil on every player in our squad.

Get a new manager in and put 6 or 7 players from our reserves in to the first team.

He was very good again today against shocking opposition who gave him acres of space. The things he does well he does very well, the things he is poor at he is not improving on at all. It's odd.

He has got some very good skills and his shooting from distance is very good.

Still raw in key moments at times but he's in decent all round form and it was good for him to get on the score sheet today.

Had a very good game today. I was just saying before the goal I really hope he can take the next step up. He has all the tools but can't put them all together at the moment. Still a very young player and still very exciting to think what he will become if he does unlock that next level.

Still feels like he's trying to force it sometimes but his workrate and constant threatening of the fullback was commendable, glad he got his goal.

Deserved that goal, his overall play has been improving in the last few games, hope we find a way to give him starts in the coming weeks.

Yeah, the same shocking opponents we’ve been struggling to beat all of this season when we’ve had acres of space. Try giving some credit.

That was credit. We've not faced anyone who gave us so much space out wide. The fullbacks and wide players were practically unchallenged today and they all made the most of it.

A noticeable improvement in his workrate this season I feel. Even before the "mad dog" stuff I noticed him running back tracking players with hard work at times earlier in the season.

Unfortunately I think this sums up the problem with United and Rashford

He makes his biggest impact playing from the left. Same as Martial. Same as Sanchez

I guess its good when Martial is rested or not available. But its frustrating when you try to get 2 of them in the same team

I’m just glad someone capitalised on it for once rather than drilling balls to the first man or not having any movement or balls to take shots I.E Palace.

Mourinho is putting a lot of faith in him which is odd when the Jose Out crowd say he is not getting a fair chance under Mourinho.

He put in a good shift again today (like usual) but his finishing and decision making was poor today (like usual). Scored a banger, though.

He's alright against lower teams I guess but if we really want to progress him and Lukaku need gone out of the start XI. Ironically they scored today, I know.

I suspect that our having a right-sided presence has shifted the oppo defence over to cover Dalot's runs and given Rashford more space on the opposite flank. Usually, the oppo defence just allows Valencia the ball and crowds our left side.

Rashford could be so much more than he is right now if he improved his decision making in the final third- like his assist to Mata- but he never backs down.

Very encouraging showing. 2 assists and a goal.

Another great game. He's taking responsibility, work hard, and always try to make things happened. My MotM, with Dalot in very very close 2nd.

Do some people still not see anything special in him? If he clicks, we have potentially world class player in the making. Of course there are many things to improve, but he is very talented player, doesn't get injured often, has a very good workrate and by the looks of it he has a very good attitude which will help a lot in becoming top player. Imagine what would Guardiola make of him?

His workrate is amazing, and he deserves lot of raspect based on that alone, but some will never like him by the looks of it. Time to call people racist?

I think he needs to work on his finishing but if you'd rather call me a racist, fire away.

The criticism he gets on here is OTT - but then that’s the modern day keyboard warriors who don’t even go to matches - and quite frankly every player gets stuck.

But your comment is a “WTF” moment.

It's a joke regarding Sterling discussion. I wasn't being serious

I find it laughable that Sterling fans simply can't accept that some still don't find him that good and call everyone who don't like his football racist.

Was on the left today and despite not giving us the silkiness of Martial, he gives us so much more, in my opinion.

Not only is his work rate out of possession fantastic, but its also very good in possession too. He's forever making runs, which allows us to get in behind teams. To add to that, he's very direct, which means, although he may lose it quite often, he tries to make things happen and we saw that today.

Things dont always comes off for him, but he never stops trying, and thats the mentality you need at a club as big as United.

Deserved his goal in the end and was my MOTM.

Love his work rate, commitment and attitude. Might not be the best talent and probably lacks in composure in the final third but I would have him ahead of Lukaku every game.

Was losing patience with him, been very good these last few though. Might be best to chuck him on the left and Martial up top...

Performed like I envision a very confident Rashford does

I agree with this. Martial has better hold up play and is a better finisher. Rashford can blizt past players down the left.

Have to agree, Rashford just offers so much out there. I feel Martial would benefit more as CF.

Funnily enough, Rash out wide and Martial as CF are their natural positions.

Played like he had a big wank right before going onto the pitch. Looked calm and composed and damn did it help his game. Just the ability to look up from his feet and not only at the ball made a big difference for him this game. Maybe it had something to do with the pace of the opposition, but he'll get credit because we have been missing this. Keep on looking up and not taking himself too seriously and he'll do fine.

Absolutely class. If we had an attacking minded manager this guy would be unreal. If Guardiola was managing him, he would be getting 15 to 20 goals a season.

Imperative that we sign him and martial up to new contracts.

I might be on my own here, but I didn't think he was as good as people make it out...I thought he did brilliantly for Mata's goal, but after that I thought it was more or less the same performances we usually see, too often he ran into a dead end and lost the ball. His energy levels are very impressive, but at times he's sprinting at full pace without there being much point to it, needs to be channeled correctly. Never understood why Tevez was loved for constantly sprinting after the ball, unless the team as a collective is putting pressure then running on your own is usually pointless. Great to see him get a goal, goalkeeper mistake doesn't make much of a difference, hopefully it boosts his confidence and he relaxes a bit, needs to trust himself a bit more and calm down, not constantly try to force things.

IMO the way they lined up vs Arsenal brings the best out of both. Pairing them together as the 2 up top. One being on the wing, 1 being alone through the middle always leads to inconsistencies, one being left too isolated up top and what not. At least until we get a more cohesive attacking plan and system throughout the rest of the team, neither is too consistent from the left and neither can really play the lone striker role that well. Needs both to be more of a consistent threat.

His biggest problem has always been that he's way too selfish. Past few games he has improved that and results have shown. That pass to Mata - I would never expect him to make that pass. Similarly many instances against Arsenal. Excellent game today!
