Marco Reus

He's one player who can instantly change our attack regardless who he's surrounded by or our style of play. Gonna write this off as a baseless rumor as the alternative would leave me totally depressed. Would be fecking mental on our part if there was any truth to this.

I told people no one would pay £60m. Could never be true though. That would have been the transfer of the summer. Not even we could be the dumb... Then again!!!

Actually thinking we haggled over Pedro after the money being spent on Martial

The martial price isn't even that large when you look at the structure.

Our fan's desperation to see a big name signed is absurd. Go play fm ffs.

I do not believe for a second we were offered Reus, nor do I believe we would be stupid enough to turn him down.

ESPN reported that Chelsea had signed Aguero two seasons in a row before him joining City. Sure, go on and believe in everything they say as long as its negative about the club. People here loves dem negatives.

Hope its not true.
Was my muppet signing for the summer (well ... him and muller) so would be pretty pissed if we turned down the chance to sign him, regardless of price.

So we were willing and paid 60 million for Di Maria but weren't willing to do it for Reus who's arguably a better player and is younger? Yeah ok...

ESPN making stuff up again... Nothing to see here.

FFP over expenditure last season bites us hard this season.

Euros and Pounds, are you a journo?

You mean the "people here" of which the majority have come in here and don't believe that its true?

If it is true that we offered 50m but they asked for 60m and we withdrawn, then our management are mental. Reus is exactly what we need and if we were prepared to give Madrid 100m for Bale, then 60m for Reus sounds like a steal.

So why would we have paid the money for Bale and not Reus? I think the media are talking out their arse.
Marketability. Bale is an adidas poster boy and would very likely either become the face of United or share top billing with Rooney.

As players, Bale will never be better than Reus, unless Reus' ankles finally ruin him.

Posters losing whatever little happiness is left in their lives over a nonsense tweet. So predictable.

put this here for @Sphaero or someone to clarify later

Senseless paper talk. Nothing in the German media about it, neither the boulevard nor the trustworthy ones. And believe me the way the journalists circled the Dortmund offices yesterday, someone would have broken this news even just to get klicks.

Where can I see how it's structured?

Its in the Martial thread somewhere. We're paying 21m upfront and the rest in instalments and heavily incentivised. For example him winning Golden Boy and Ballon D'or EPL golden boot etc

Thanks.

So just another journo earning his living by making up blatant and completely illogical lies. Nice.
