I saw that! Why is that trending?

Not happy about Jorginho. They got all excited for Caicedo and then Edu goes and gets a has been from the Chelsea bench, a transaction that has happened a couple of times before with less than stellar results it seems. Gooners seem to think they are stuck with overpaid deadwood and they have helped balance the books for Boehly into the bargain.

Because we're signing European Championship and Champions League winner, Jorginho. One "fan" on Arsenal Mania said, completely unironically, that even if we win the title it will be tainted now. Elements of our fanbase are mental. Thankfully they don't seem to go to games as our match-going fans have been fantastic this season. But it looks like some of our online following would rather "win the transfer window" than win the league. Can't get my head around it.

That's why I hang out here. Having a little moan about being underwhelmed by Sabitzer is the paragon of rationality compared to a lot of Gooner nonsense in the last 24 hours.

Elements of all fanbase are mental to be fair.

Well apart from Liverpool fans, there the majority are mental.

Our first Austrian player? Could have been Arnautovic!

I think everyone here will be happy with Sabitzer under the circs to be fair

If this happens it’d be the biggest sign yet for me that things behind the scenes are actually changing. So cmon United get it done.

Earlier I was trying to think what midfielder I wouldn't take right now given our current situation ... and well, you've cracked it.
I don't know. I'd be happy signing him if it meant keeping him from injuring any more of our players even if we have to pay him for the privilege. Provided we also kept him off the training ground as well.

Depends on what's happening up front. No chance we'll even look at Aouar and Tielemans has been shit for ages. He'd be below Fred in the pecking order on form over the last year.

If Sabitzer plays well for us and we can get him cheaply enough that means enough to spend £100m+ on Osimhen then yeah.

Well sounds like he could be got for reasonable fee which IF we get new owners opens up possibility of still going for a De Jong/Bellingham. I won't include Fernandez because see him being at Chelsea when window shuts.

As usual Glazers only act when their hand is forced (by Eriksen's injury in this case) I can't wait till we get owners with ambition. Arsenal are adding Jorginho and Caicedo to their already good midfield ffs.

No they are not

Why are Bayern prepared to let him go if he's that good?
Probably because they've got enough fit and available CM options that the manager prefers / that suits his style better - so he's a squad player they deem can be loaned out.

If they had lost two of those CM options for the season injured, they'd probably keep him and he'd get game time for them as well as he did earlier in the season. As it is, they've got good cover in CM. We've got an injury crisis there. So we have a need for him right now. Currently they don't.

It's a sensible move for a decent CM who should do a useful job for us just when we were looking in trouble in that position.

Just seen some of his goal clips on twitter. He's got a strike in him. Some really nice long rangers.

Yeah I would be buzzing with this deal, however you are right it's very Bruno in 2020 due to Pogba & McTominay injuries

Fair enough mate, I've always rated Jorginho to be fair. Weird thing to get angry about.

dont' really understand the disdain being shown for this move when we BADLY need a quality player brought in due to the injury
