We've got awful owners mate. If the budget was set in stone before the window opened, we could've got alot of the deals done earlier potentially. He has a wonderful engine, and is a proper all around midfielder. I don't think he actually excels at anything, but he's solid all over midfield. I reckon you could stick him in any of the midfield positions and he'd do a decent enough job. There is no reason he can't do a job as Casemiro's backup.
