Roge is the best source for La Masia players and if he's reporting this then I believe it's a done deal.
Just like how he struck for Gerard Pique over a decade ago.
If he's any good he'll agitate to go back at the first opportunity a la Pique and Fabregas.
And even if he went back to Barca it would mean we would have a top player for a number of years and earn quality profit.Pique and Cesc wanted to return home to the best team in Europe. We’ll be better than Barcelona within two years.
I think you missed his joke, he is agreeing with you. Notice he didn't finish his last sentence before saying what you said wasn't a bad shout. He's agreeing with you, as am I and I would imagine most people would.I never said when he might go back to Barca. Also i didn't specify that he would move from United to Barca.
He may decline a contract now for money reasons or low chances of making a breakthrough, but in a couple of years or a decade, everything will be forgotten and he will go back if he is good enough to potentially start there and they are in need of a RB.
Pique, Fabregas. Heavily flirting with Bellerin for a while. You can laugh all you want, but if he turns out to be a very good player, you can bet your house on it that Barca will be chasing him if they need a RB. If he turns out to be average or barely good enough, nobody will care anyway.
Real usually loan them out or sell them with a buy back clause. And they all are eager to crawl back to them. In recent times, Odegaard, Carvajal, Hakimi.
The only risk is that he may leave sooner than you think. But if you get him for peanuts and you can sell him for a good price, at least you made some money. But you have to be aware of it, that such a scenario might turn up at some point.

Elsewhere I hear that bad loans are the reason Ole hasn't agreed loans this year, for Garner for example. Bad loans such TFM, CBJ, and Demitri Mitchell got. Looks like United are now going to more trouble to make sure loan club is suitable for the player.Look at adnan and Piazon both extremely highly rated as youngsters and both probably wealthy men by now... but maybe it takes a bad loan or some time away from the club to show our fans that these players were never going to make it here in the long run.
I think is more about the player than the club, if the player is good enough he’ll play.Elsewhere I hear that bad loans are the reason Ole hasn't agreed loans this year, for Garner for example. Marc Jurado says goodbye to FC Barcelona after training at the Masia from the pre-Benjamin age. Right back will play next season at Manchester United
No way, he's only 16.Any chance he'll be involved with the first team next season, maybe third in line, after AWB and Laird, with Dalot sold/loaned?
No way, he's only 16.
Probably just envisions an easier pathway into the United first team.So the move is about money only?

I don't know. This club has AWB, Dalot, and Laird for RB spots.Probably just envisions an easier pathway into the United first team.
Dalot wont be here longI don't know. This club has AWB, Dalot, and Laird for RB spots.
Why would you be asking someone on the internet what his intentions were? He is moving to further his career, simple as. He sees it as better than continuing at Barcelona. That’s all that matters right now, for a 16 year old.
Why would you ask someone on the Internet why they asked someone on the Internet...Come to think of it, why am I asking someone on the Internet, why he is asking someone on the Internet, why he is asking someone on the Internet.
Sometimes posters are more informed about certain pieces of news.
Why though.
Hang on just a minute guys, I’ve got it on good authority from the Cafe that Dortmund is the only place a youngster can go if they want to be world class and play first team football.
Would someone care to explain what’s going on? Because it looks like we just snapped up one of Spain’s best Young right backs.

Why are you asking if it's just about money? Is it impossible to think he wanted to move to United from Barca for any other reason or something? Seems a very loaded question tbh.
Or something else. Maybe he looked at the record of youth development at United, and decided he has better prospects of career development here than there?... I am just curious whether he was promised a clear path to first team football soon or if he was massively compensated. I do acknowledge there are more factors than those two. Didn't expect a spurious comment to engage so much attention..
I'm not going to dig a trench and defend this comment to the bitter end. I am just curious whether he was promised a clear path to first team football soon or if he was massively compensated. OK.
1. He wont have been 'massively compensated' because the FA/FL have rules about how much Academy players can be paid. It is exactly the same amount for every player. At 17, he may have been promised a professional contract but the terms of that contract will depend on many factors and be negotiated at the time.
2. He won't have been promised a 'pathway' to the first team but the coaches would have discussed a 'development plan' that if everything goes well would see him get a chance of reaching the first team. This is the same for every Academy player and will depend on form, injuries, personal development and motivation/attitude. He will have been shown how so many youth players have reached the first team in recent and past years and see that we have given debut's to eight Academy players this season and the current first team squad has over ten Academy graduates playing regularly. It will be up to him to force his way in. The club will not give guarantees.
3. We have been scouting him for some time and he was over here in Manchester in August 2018 for a trial. Whatever has been going on at Barcelona has been upsetting him for at least two years otherwise why would he want to leave.
4. There is just a big pull to play for United's Academy because so many kids do reach the first team. It doesn't work for everyone and players like Jude Bellingham and others make decisions on other factors. I'm guessing Jurado's agents and family would have talked to the likes of Mejia, Puigmal and maybe even Mata to get a sense of the club before making a decision.
5. These deals have been going on since the 1940's. Young lads stand out at schoolboy level and end up having loads of trials at clubs up and down the country. It's obviously an international set-up these days but the principle are the same. The kid has made a football decision and time will tell if he has made the right choice for both parties.
There were news about him waiting for international clearance.Any news on how he’s doing? I see Fernandez has played a few games so far but haven’t seen him yet.
